A Day in the Life of a Minecraft Train Conductor

The power plant near the town of Acaciaville has run out of fuel. Our train conductor picks up the tank cars and journeys to the Nether to acquire the lava fuel and heads back to start the power plant back up again.

How to make wagons? It tells me that I need Train controller. How do I connect those wagons? When I come to the second locomotive, it cannot be connected.
