Transitioning into the pharmaceutical industry as a R&D scientist before officially finishing PhD requirements = weekends doing experiments + early morning study sessions/thesis revisions.

Also I have a question - why did you say that the impurities would come out first (when you were looking at the tlc) even though they were at the baseline?? The compounds higher up on the tlc plate should come out first right?

yes yes! i was using a normal phase TLC plate but in actuality I was running a reverse phase column 🤣 we don't have reverse phase TLC plates so that's why there's a flip hehe YAY FOR CHEM TALK
