Күн бұрынThe seminary of the Institute of Christ the King is located in an ancient chateau at Gricigliano in Tuscany, Italy. Located near Florence, it is only about 170 miles from the Eternal City -- Rome -- and the Vatican. Named St. Phillip Neri Seminary, it is here that our priests receive the formation that prepares them to serve the Sovereign Priest.

How I absolutely wish we had one of these parishes nearby. The vestments alone show how seriously they take in worshipping the lord with beauty and reverence. This is how to revive the church. I truly believe.

this order of seminarians and it's holy priests are the answer, solution, and remedy to the priest shortage in America. it is also the solution to the priestly abuse scandal. no such problems within these traditional, reverent, and truly holy orders of seminarians and priests. God bless all of the seminarians and priests of the ICKSP and PFSP. may these traditional orders continue to produce the holy priests we so much need in our Catholic Church. I have heard that there are long waiting lists for young men to attend these seminaries. because there is a growing demand by young men to attend these two orders. they must be doing something right!!! they are both traditional orders of priests. you can find out information about them on each if their respective websites.

As a side note, in addition to their daily studies, English speaking seminarians must become fluent in French, since that is the language used a the seminary.

Its funny how after I graduated High School, I wanted to join the seminary but God made me wait a bit. Two years after graduation and going to college I discovered the latin mass through a diocesan priest and later FSSP and SSPX. I was sure I wanted to be part of the FSSP but God made me wait a bit more then I discovered ICKSP and realized the Institute would be the best choice for me.

@@szymongorczynski7621 I havent. Apparently in order to join ICKSP you need to learn two languages other than english. I speak spanish and latin but I need to learn french as well since most of the education is in french.

Those are probably read individually. The ones mentioned are done as a group and sung. A priest from this order was at dinner at my house and excused himself to say the divine office outside in the middle of the visit. This order is very disciplined.

Priests need Alot of Prayer! The Dignity of the Priesthood is So Great and dangerous! I would never think of becoming one. They owe much to God. Keep them in your prayer intentions for the Rosary! I never Omit them.

I wish my seminary were like this. On a side note: is the chess board set up incorrectly at 1:42, or is it supposed to be like that? It looks like the bishops and knights have been swapped on both sides, and the king and queen are swapped on one side.

@Open doors Organisation Hearing so much about the sexual scandal from the Catholic Church, seminarian priests should have the strict rules on celibacy. The Buddhist monasteries have strict training for their priests. You don't hear much about the sexual scandal in Buddhism. If a Buddhist monk or priests are found guilty of sexual misconduct, he is quickly kicked out of the monastery
