Yeah, i don't think AI will replace software engineers in the near future. I think AI more likely going to be a tool we use which will make us more productive and speed up innovation. So the way we work will probably be a little different but we still going to work 😄

Hey, cool to hear you are studying software and development. What i would do is find a coding language which has high demand and that i like and do a lot of coding using that. Write some small or big applications and add it to github. Hobby projects can be great to talk about in job interviews. Good luck with your studies.
