You need to be extremely ambitious to go to Stanford and be an athlete, so I suspect that he's fallen in love with the grind and has a vision of his life that he wants to realize.

Definitely an awesome video, Charles! I’m so fascinated with all these “Stanford in the Life” videos; they’re so interesting. I also loved how you didn’t wanna focus too much on your athlete side of the story, since we don’t get to see much of your student life. Anyways, I actually just got into Stanford this year, so hopefully I can experience some of the cardinal life! 🌲’27!!

do you ever feel like being a student athlete makes it hard to stay up with school work? and is the work load something that clashes with/ stops you from social things like parties?

Personally, I haven’t felt that much of a conflict. Obviously you have to prioritize certain things in life over others, but I think that’s the nature of the beast if you’re trying to do something to the best of your ability.
