The video where I get an insight into what it's like to work in the finance industry as a women from a couple of companies including accenture, PWC, Rothschild, Insight Investment and loooooads of others. I thought I'd take you guys along as it was free for me to sign up and I feel these events are always kind of scary signing up to but once you're there you realise everyone else is in the same boat. It's also really important to start building a strong network around yourself - whether that's employers, mentors, colleagues or just generally in my case other females who want to see other females succeed! Attending these finance networking events almost become second nature as a london business student and I'm so grateful that companies like Bright Network and even the firms that attend run these so we have a better chance of succeeding through the application processes - they're suuuuuper long - and in our career!
