@@RadioRich100 I agree, it's a racket. The whole funeral business is nothing but a money-making scam that preys on the grieving. By law, they must tell you that you don't have to be embalmed or even buy one of their caskets or urns. Also by law, the funeral home has to accept caskets and urns bought elsewhere. So you don't have to purchase their outrageously overpriced products. You can even make your own casket or purchase coffin or urn online at Walmart, Costco, or on Amazon at a discount price. Heck, you don't even have to have a funeral, if you don't want to. You also have the option to bring your loved one home and stay with you for days. Another thing a lot of people don't know, is that if you have family owned property, your loved one can most likely be buried on your own land. Each state, county, and city has different laws regarding that so it's always good to check into it. The funeral industry most likely won't volunteer this information though, because they want to con you out of your money and get rich during your time of need. But, if you ask them about it, they are legally obligated to tell you the truth about what other options you have. I feel they are nothing but a bunch of scoundrels preying on the bereaved. So please don't allow yourself to be taken advantage of.

@RadioRich100 I worked in the funeral business for 11 years. The vaults nowadays cost $600.00 to $1200.00 depending on what kind of inside liner you want and what particular vault you want. As far as all of the setup you saw in the video and the tear down there is no charge for that.

I worked as a vault setter for Wilbert (Alexander, AR) in 2018. When my dad died, the owners gave him a free Monticello vault and let me paint it and decorate the top with a crest and his nameplate. They even let me set his vault, took me to the funeral home for his service, and paid me to perform his burial after riding back to the cemetery in the family car. They are a great company to work for, and I am grateful for the experience. ❤️🙏🏻

As someone that works in the cemetery world I appreciate what you are doing here. There is a ton of misinformation about what we do and how it’s done. And you do it in a way that doesn’t make death care employees look like the Addams Family. Oddly enough we use Wilbert a ton in my area in IL.

Wow who'd have thunk it, all of this from a video about "a day in the life of a Vaultman". How in the world could a KZfaq video be so satisfying and moving, as well? I see Hard work, dedication, attention to detail, respect, reverence and empathy for the departed and their families in every move you make. Even the tone of your voice on the voiceover portion of this video is measured and professionally respectful. I see a good man in SO many ways. I'm grateful that there are still people in the world like you sir. I am deeply proud of you and can envision that you are very likely also, a good son, husband and father. GOD BLESS YOU and yours. Thank you for this glimpse into the day of a GREAT MAN!

It’s now called Wilbert crews based in Wayne New Jersey, this video gave me Manny flashbacks to my days playing in the sand pits in the yard. My grandfather made a live in selling vaults air condition, stairs, and bumper guards for parking lots.

The guy who dug my mom’s grave was happy to tell me all about it when I stopped by to see it. The day of the burial the vault guy was very happy to let me watch my mom’s casket lower into the vault and showed me how it sits on a lip to let water flow underneath the casket. I’m so thankful for what you all do. Made a sad day better because my mom was buried without a hitch.

This is a fascinating video, in that, I have always wondered many things about the preparation of the final resting place. Well said. I worked 3 different jobs at a mortuary in the 1990’s & it was one of the funnest, most gratifying places I’ve ever worked. I’ve now been a cop for 22 years & now a coroner’s detective, & I see myself going back to a mortuary when I retire from this job. It is so satisfying helping families in their most difficult times. Cemeteries are the most peaceful parks of all & I enjoy visiting new ones when possible. It reminds me to slow down in this rat race.❤️🙏🇺🇸
