What a wonderful day I experienced with you! I remember the days of homeschooling my three boys in the 90’s, but we did mostly unschooling. They still did book work, but my boys all had different interests so we focused on what each one was interested in. All three got their GED and only two graduated from college! I miss those years dearly!

Thank you ☺️. You are an amazing mother 😊. It sounds like your kids had a great experience homeschooling. I was in high school in the late 90’s and I would have loved to have been homeschooling. My kids are struggling, but they are used to being in school and they miss seeing friends everyday.

Thank you so much for your videos! All of them feel so inspiring! We are very lucky that we live in an area with a little vegtable stand that is open March - November. The prices are a little higher but the quality is top notch. Also I live in WA state, which has handled Covid much differently than FL, so it great to see that you guys are taking the Covid threat real and care about social distancing and being safe. Thanks for being awesome!

Hi! Thank you so much:) Yes we take it very seriously. My son and I are high risk, so we are very careful. Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it.

Nice video! I'm from Oregon so it's nice to visually see other places. There are fruit shortages here as well on and off too. I use those rice noodles as well. This pandemic has my anxiety worked up and now it's taken it's toll on my tummy. Thank you for sharing your day!💖😎 Linda

Thank you 😊 Same here, I have a hard time eating a lot of the stuff I used to. This pandemic needs to end! It’s so stressful.

I just recently discovered your channel and am enjoying it! With regard to noodles, might you consider trying red lentil or chick pea spaghetti? I make lo mein of sorts with it and we really enjoy it. Take care.

Hi Jennifer, What a beautiful and peaceful day. I enjoyed seeing your routine and family life. Even though you had a lot to get done, I enjoyed seeing you do it with grace and still put your health and family first. Great lessons for a young mum like myself to learn. Somedays, I consume soo much caffeine and race through errands neglecting myself. Also enjoyed seeing around your state. Down here in Australia we don’t celebrate seasons or Halloween, and our Christmas lights and decorations are very minimal compared to the Halloween ones you showed! Wowie! Looks festive and fun!

Thank you for your kind words:) That day did seem very busy to me. Most days kind of blur into the next one. I try to enjoy the little things about them, but it can be hard. I felt the same way you do when my kids were young. They grow up so fast and I wish I had taken more time to enjoy being in the moment with them because they were so precious when they were young. In most parts of Florida people do not decorate this much for Halloween. I plan on taking the kids for a walk at night soon so they can see all the lights:)

Enjoyed your video. I live in a rural area with lots of access to farm stands & markets, so no vegetable/fruit shortage here. Your videos are always so calm & relaxing.

Thank you for sharing! What a nice day. We have been walking more, but always have to drive to a location to walk because of our rural location. No sidewalks around here, just woods or open fields. It seems like you have a minimalist approach to eating as well. It's very inspiring. I homeschool my kids as well. Do your kids do school through a school district, but just online? We have tried some online classes, which has simplified some subjects for us and freed up some personal time for me.
@TheMinimalistFam

Thanks! Florida no longer has online classes through the district, so they have to use the state website and it is a lot more difficult because they do not get instruction from the teachers, they have to learn everything on their own:(

I am in the UK and we are still having some occasional fresh food shortages but they are not as bad as they have been. At the moment it seems to be crisps (chips) and before that it was noodles

@@TheMinimalistFam You're welcome! Your voice is very soothing. Can you do a video on how your children feel about this lifestyle. I've seen your daughter do her minimalist clothes tour but how do your son and husband feel?
@TheMinimalistFam
@TheMinimalistFam 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks:) I can add that to my list. My son is camera shy so I try to respect his feelings. As for minimalism, he loves the things he has especially his computer. My husband likes minimalism because it makes it easier for us to move. He doesn't like a cluttered house. The only thing he would like to have a lot of is cars. He loves cars:)

I found your channel when you first began posting. I love the slow quality and sweet music you chose. I find the videos very soothing. We also have folding chairs in our kitchen, but we never looked for anything nice looking. We just bought the plushier ones from the store. I like the look of yours. Do you remember the brand? Also, are your children’s desks from Ikea? Warmly, a comment from another Jennifer 🙏🥰

Thank you! And thanks for continuing to support the channel 😊. We have had those chairs for a while, but I think they were from Target. I bought them because they were easy to clean when our children were younger and spilled everything:) my son’s desk is from Amazon and my daughter’s was originally mine and it was from Target as well.

Question: why don't let you let them make their own meals..? No judging, just wondering.

They do make a lot of their own meals now. I was staying at home at the time so that's why I was making the meals. Now I work so they make some of them:)
