Lmao a couple years ago me and my family took a trip to the East Coast for a funeral (we are from California so the cold was literal hell) in New Jersey and when we pulled up at some White Castle burger joint which is so fuckin good, the lady on the intercom thingy or whatever asked us what we'd like to order and as she spoke me and my family literally looked at each other like "bruh wtf we never heard someone speak like this before😅" but it was actually super dope, them Jersey accents hit differently man

This video does not accurately depict normal delivery routes. She had 9-bags (=100 packages =60+ deliveries) in this video. Reality... Expect 14-20+ bags =200+ packages =140-180+ deliveries. This girls route [in this video] is referred to as a "Sissy Route" They give you these routes your first couple days. But after that... expect A LOT more. That's where drivers start to drop/quite. *Also, you ARE held accountable to any damages that occur while in your possession. No you won't have to pay to fix it. But you may be looking at disciplinary action; depending on the incident [Write ups, suspension, etc.]

Sweetheart, first of all 9 bags is not an automatic equivalent to 100 packages & 60stops. Also it’s not everyday that one gets 140-180 stops, there are days where it’s slow & your deliveries can range from 80-100 deliveries. It was not my first couple days on the job to answer your assumption, I’ve had days were my deliveries were a lot & days were it was a “sissy route”. How can you say this video does not depict the reality of what to expect? When it’s clearly A day in the life, I didn’t say a day in YOUR life. Not everyone gets the same experience. thank you for your inputs. next time, listen to hear not to respond. don’t be so quick to try to devalue someone’s work. Have a bless day love.

I lasted a little over 6 months. I started Jan 22nd and quit late July I believe. I’m in MD. It’s easy work but when your stuff isn’t ready on time for you to load or you constantly have to rescue everyday it’s annoying after a while. I’m in school now for computer hardware and networking. I’m about to go in the warehouse and work Tuesday-Friday in the meantime. Stay safe and always watch your back out there. Happy holidays to you and yours.

Dang you must have a shitty DSP mines is great so far ! Got $100 gift card first week and $50 this week and got my $1 raise a month and a half early ! And never had any issues with loading or constantly rescuing cause I get big routes usually 160-200 so I finish within the ten hours ! The annoying things are Shitty rabbit GPS , Group stops and dumb customer preferred locations lol and I also go to school will finish my Associates in criminal justice this Spring!

I was only worried about being out at night since the sun is setting earlier these days and I’m also a young black woman. First of, thank you for tuning in love. I appreciate it💕. Personally I believe in God & practically be begging for protection! when I start to feel unsafe or even doubting I try to remind myself I am not alone. I do my best staying alert & aware! However, You’re allowed to carry pepper spray or taser. I can’t get them shipped out to me sadly Bc of state laws. But hopefully you can. 😊(double check with your dsp) Driving the van is a process, But honestly you’ll do great. After a week or 2. Just remember it’s bigger in size when backing up etc. For faster deliveries, I park at my first location, sort out like 2-3 bags according to my itinerary so when I reach the location I won’t spend time looking. You can try out different methods & see which works best for you. This was mad long but I wanted to be clear. Hope I answered all your questions love. Anything else feel free to ask ! You’ll do great !

Your point about making money not a bad point if you work for someone or your own business if your bringing in income and the family can be helped out when you can and can take care of yourself you all good. I bet the long hours of driving is exhausting but its all worth it i can tell. glad to be part of the family for sure and i'm Haitian myself. Thinking about working as a dsp because it seems like decent pay and I hate a boss breathing over my shoulder 24/7. I rather have my packages delivered by Amazon than USPS. I ordered a lot from Amazon. The last package. Seller decided to ship by USPS. It supposed to arrive on April 30. Last I checked it's stuck at a distribution center in Memphis for 12 days. 20 minutes away from the post office near me.
