I feel like maybe I’m not good enough for all this and wonder how I even got in. But, we got here for a reason and admission commute wouldn’t have chosen us if they didn’t think we could handle the rigor. Ur not alone and we are in this together ❤

hi, sorry for my belated reply! thank you for sharing here :) i wonder how you're feeling one month-post writing this. i can assure you that you are so so enough. i feel imposter-syndrome all the time, like in the library haha, when i'm looking around at all the studious people studying, while all i'm doing is.. looking around at all the studious people studying. but something interesting is that everybody feels that sort of incompetence-everyone looks around at their peers in awe. there's always smarter people, or whatever X-er people, BUT you've got something, too. which is to say, you were accepted for a reason, and you're going to do great, AND find community. all will be well. i'm so excited for you~ it's gonna be great!

hello, Eunjae! receiving your comment (just as in the past few times) was a very lovely thing. i resonate with your current thoughts and anxieties as you approach the end of your junior year (congratulations!) and the upcoming college apps season. right now i'm back in my high school room, and as i sit at this desk, my headspace has been brought back to my own junior year. being at this desk reminds me of studying for APs, the SAT exams, and then writing my college apps and all that. i remember i would look on social media at those "college people" and feel this envy that they were done with it all, that they were over the great hill that is this whole grand finale of high school that you're going through. i remember watching videos of advice for the process, but everything that "college people" said felt SO MUCH easier to say from their point of view as they were out of it all. so, i'm conscious that any words of comfort i say may feel, hmm, like, really easy for me to say but harder for you to actually feel. i just want to say that i'm sending strength to you. time will pass. sitting here now, at this same desk i used to sit at in junior year, i'm amazed at time as i often am. how does it pass so fast? it passes and we live life. you are marching through this phase of your life; you're doing it! big congrats on nearly finishing junior year (that's a tough one !!). thanks again for watching, and for sending me the Korean radio KZfaq channel - i'll check it out :) 화이팅!
