A Day In The Life Of An Infantry Marine. I'm glad to have been able to finally show what I do sometimes as an Infantryman / Infantry Marine. This Day In The Life Of A Marine doesn't apply to all Marines. But sometimes this is the reality of what you might be doing, a lot of "hurry up and wait". But this Day In The Life Of An Infantry Marine more shows kind of the down side of the Infantry not the training aspect of being an Infantryman. Hope you want to see more Vlogs from me. Great video! Great video honestly i really liked it. What really really killed me was when I saw him walk ON the grass. Deep down myself, I felt a really sharp pain just by thinking how he walked on the grass.. Lol. Although i don't think there's no actual rule against walking on the grass. Much like the rule on parking, “If the base commander has a sign saying don't walk on the grass, it's probably not legally binding”.

It’s important to stress the other side which is when Infantry personnel are training it can be a non stop evolution with little to no down time so when these down times come it can be a welcome rest.

To Okinawa we called it a rotation. We went through a 6 month mccrest period to train up to be allowed to go over sea’s. Never anytime down time. when there was no training. By 7am we had already shit, showered shaved and pt then after formation at 7am, we had hygiene inception. With your hair you would been sent to the barbers formation. Before even getting breakfast. You get cought. Relaxing in your barracks room you would have been in the pit out back.

@@harshbansal7982 I was with the 9th Marines in 1992. With the Communications platoon for about three months. Then they sent me to work at the base pool as a lifeguard. I was the only one who could pass the lifeguard training. Had a nice 9 months with that.

Depends when we’re you in, grunts in 2010 are more busy working up for deployment to Afghanistan compared to 2020 grunts during peace times mainly living the garrison life. And fuckin UDP’s are not real deployments! Getting sent to the combat zones is where you earn your stripes
