Glad I came across your content! I just got my A+ Cert and I’m going for Network+ now. Networking is my struggle point, as I haven’t had hardly any real work exposure to networking. Your videos are letting me see what some of the real world uses are for some of these concepts, which is what my brain needs to comprehend some of this material. I appreciate you sharing with us. @@cringetechnologiesWith all of the research going into this journey, it just seemed like the most logical first step. I have alot to “natural exposure” to basic technology concepts. Ie. Building my own PCs, gaming, fixing everyday issues at work and for family. I just needed the more specific knowledge. I do self study with KZfaq and Udemy as of now. I’m not sure where I want to end up in the field yet. I do know that this is what I enjoy, though.

Hey thanks again, A+ and CCNA are good courses to do I did them myself many moons ago, CCNA with WLC is a good course , CompTIA Network aswell

To be honest, there are so many free courses available now compared to when I started. I would recommend utilizing platforms like KZfaq. For instance, there's a KZfaqr named @networkchuck who offers a 14-day video series on CCNA. Afterward, you can sign up to practice in a lab setting using resources like www.boson.com/practice-exam/200-301-cisco-ccna-practice-exam?eid=a6ad3803-8de2-4619-946c-538afb7f555f

If I were to start my IT career now, I would probably go for a Cloud Certification in Azure or AWS. It all depends on what really interests you. CCNA is a great course to consider, but I am currently focusing on Azure. Schools and businesses are moving away from on-prem solutions, and there will still be a need for networking and routing, but in a different capacity.
