What company were you employed with? What companies do you recommend, and are easy for veterans to get hired on with?

You make this sound sweet for most veterans, late working hours no problem! I've been trying to get my foot in the door, maybe not in Kuwait but I would settle for it.

Kuwait isn’t bad at all. With every country outside of the US, there will always be pros and cons to them. If the opportunity was presented to me again, I would definitely go.

Can you shop on base even if you're a civilian contractor? Also which streaming sites work over there? Lol! Netflix/Prime/Hulu or others?

To my knowledge all US citizens can but there are regulations enforced in reference to that and Most streaming sites work with a strong VPN.

Question: how does vacationing work? Can you take a month off and visit different countries after you’ve saved up enough PTO?

Each company is different so it depends. For the most part if you do have enough PTO yes you can take those days but keep in mind that your section/office has to maintain a mission essential percentage

Tough, I'm sold on the contracting but I still have lil over 2 years left on my contract in the CG. What should I be doing between now and ets.

You’re still active so there’s honestly nothing you can do at the moment. Ensure your resume is squared away. The last few months of your contract, research which ever company you would want to reach out to, then start applying.

Dunz, once your contract up does the company help you find employment or you usually have something lined up before hand?

No they don’t and it’s always best to do your own due diligence to seek out employment before leaving any job. I hope that helps.
