Daryl Gurney is ranked 5th in the world in the PDC rankings is in a elite group of players who have won a major tournament.
In 2018 he competed in the PDC premier league an event for 16 weeks the length and breadth of the United Kingdom, Ireland and Europe. This is a glimpse of his journey in Sheffield as he takes on Raymond Van Barneveld.

yea and not long ago I heard MVG wouldnt beat phil taylor .... MVG days are numbered .. he got lucky with peter ... and mike smith choked ....

@@charliemcgovern9766 yeahh this comment is two years old. Last year I already changed my opinion, but I thought it will be Wright and not Price who pushes MVG from the throne. But I´m glad Gerwyn won the World Championship and is the new no 1 ! I´m a big fan of him since 2018 !

It's really odd as I'd read he was a good bloke off the oche. However, on the oche his attitude is sometimes shocking. I'd had issues with his attitude even in his BDO days but shows him in a different light.
