Been a drain engineer around cheshire / manchester and bit of merseyside for 25 years ,i find your channel great as i can relate to all you put on there ( unblocking /repairs / cctv etc) tell jem to invest in gully scoops for you all (needles and nastyies live in gullys) only put my hand in when i'm sure its ok, keep the films coming and stay safe,

Had problems with my drains about 10 years ago. We kept on telling United utilities that the joint were mine and my neighbour's drain met the main sewer had collapsed, there was even a drop in the road where it happened. Kept on getting fobbed off so called out drain cleaning guys who emptied the drain and put the camera through and surprise, surprise the join to the main sewer had completely collapsed. Basically we didn't have to pay the drain cleaning guys . They claimed the money back from United utilities until it was fixed as the sewage tanker had to come several times a week to empty from the manhole on my property. It's amazing how quick they got their act together when they had to pay for everything the drain guys did because the problem was outside the boundary of my house.

In the first video I was thinking "what skill!" as Splashy Andy managed to cleverly control the evil slurry underneath that stodgy top from erupting out of the drain. It was at that point that the Go Pro fell face first into the sewage! 😂 What an entertainer! 💩Great work as always though 👍🏼

I am amazed that house owners / landlords or tenants never seen keen to keep their grids or drains clear of debris as half the time this is the problems and it’s cost money to have someone come in to clean up the mess and get the drains working properly again.

It’s the not clearing the stuff around the drains that baffles me the most. You’re having a problem, you have an appointment with a technician, and you expect him to clear the area???

At 11.40, Andy says "you're not gonna see much" ... I thought we were going to see an epic eruption, but then the sound was like a Red Arrows flypast and then that gurgling as it finally gave in... I think you could easily sell these to the BBC sound library for their radio productions 😆

Totally amazed with y’all sewage’s set up system. It’s like it hasn’t changed in the hundred years or since it got developed. When y’all talk about sewer pit, the sewer “pits” states side are aerobic systems, or septic system. Both system require to be vacuum pumped out. The aerobics system does have to be inspected every 1 or 2 years. The septic system only every 3-5 years.

@jetter 2, it may be a good idea to wrap a piece of red or yellow electrical tape around the hose so you know when to stop pulling the trigger!! This way you won’t get sprayed with 💩

I'm here in the US and all of our sewers are closed systems sealed systems what do they call your drainage sewage system there in the UK is it a Greek drainage system or is it a trough system???

The revisit one annoying me as why homeowners don’t make sure their drains are easily accessible with correct covers is beyond me!! People just don’t take pride in their surroundings by the looks of some of the properties the lads attend
