Please try to use stainless steel measuring cups when using hot water. Even though that cups are microwavable, not good for health. Also soak tamarind in ceramic or stainless steel bowl because you use hot water to quick soak. Just a concern. Health is wealth.

Hi when you are keeping dhal directly in the cooker it will come out instead of that keep a bowl inside the cooker and inside the bowl add dhal and close the bowl with small plate then u won't face this problem 😊😊

Apply oil all around the cooker top edge( like 2 inches down from top. Also you can put a steel spoon or laddle in dal just long enough all the way to top yet you can close the cooker This helps tp prevent spill

Yes you need to keep one more vessel inside the cooker and then add dhall and water in that. Also add some water inside the cooker
