Introducing the ever so sweet Jake the 1.5 year old Bull Terrier. Jake had a day out at the farm today away from the shelter to have some fun, let his hair down and show you all just how simply beautiful he is.
This boy right here is what true earth angels look like. Yep that sounds like a big call, but it’s so true, and I want you to know what is beneath this seemingly tough appearance. All Jakey boy wants to do is please, do the right thing, love on you with all he has and wait at every corner for you to catch up.
He’s everything you could want in a loyal companion. From experience training many dogs, we teach responsiveness. But Jake’s personality has it in him in truckloads just naturally.
For those that know the story of Zac the Staffy at the farm and how much he just wanted to be the goodest boy … well Jake is that level of good boy too! Another big call. Yup. But so true.
This boy is so good, we hope he finds a forever home that is actually deserving of him.
He needs a family that will love him, but also have the strength to give him the right guidance in life that he so desperately wants. He doesn’t want to do the wrong thing, but it’s important someone shows him the right way and he’ll exceed all expectations.
Jake discovered lure coursing today and it quickly became his favourite thing, besides people. He is powerful and extremely fast off the mark. He didn’t want the game to end and was trying to drag us back for more runs, even knocking the barrel off to reveal the machine for one last go. Of course we obliged.
He was nervous about swimming, but off camera, Luke was able to get him in with a squeaky pig toy. With some patience and encouragement, we think he’d eventually love and be very good at swimming and water sports.
Jake is up for adoption. If you think you could be Jake’s amazing future owner please contact Central Coast Animal Care Facility. It would be a pleasure to train Jake with his new family, and we would like to offer these services to you free of charge.
For those that may not have seen previous videos and not know the back story. This week and next, we will be taking shelter dogs out for a day at the farm. We, the farm are a dog day care that has been closed temporarily due to lockdown. The shelter these dogs are at, is closing down and only has 5 weeks left to find them their forever home or a suitable ‘no kill’ rescue organisation that will take them on. We hope that these days out at the farm, will not only give them a great day away from their kennels, but show them in their true light and give them the chance to show their inner beauty. Plus we have a big awesome community of followers that would love nothing more than to share these videos in the hope that together, we can find these dogs loving forever homes.
So please share this video far and wide. Let’s find Jake his home.
