I love ADTR. And even though I grew out of them a while ago. I still occasionally come back to their music. But I have to call it how it is. Jeremy’s voice has definitely reminisced over the years. He still puts on one hell of a show. But he ain’t the same. And to answer your Q. Chester Bennington (RIP) blows Jeremy out of the water. But hey. Both great singers

Everyone who hates on Jeremy's live vocals really must not think before making their comments. Honestly, after long days of touring, show after show, song after song, do you really believe his vocals are going to sound like the studio recordings? Jeez it's ridiculous that "fans" will actually say he sucks live when i'm sure he tries his best to push through. Yeah he isn't the best at times live but give the guy a break for crying out loud.

personally i think he sounds pretty accurate to the studio recordings

TheUnstableGoon While that is true, it doesn’t change the fact that he usually doesn’t sound good. Besides, there are countless other bands that tour more and sing/play more difficult material that sound fantastic live. I’m not shitting on ADTR for not being good live, but pretending that they sound great live is just wrong. In the end it doesn’t even matter, I’ve seen them 4 times and they put on a fucking fantastic show despite not sounding very good live.

Hell yeah he puts his heart and soul out there I'd like to see someone who thinks there better embarrass theirselves. I could also see that he was conserving his voice too it's all technique.. as a vocalist I can relate

For anyone to diss Jeremy on his live vocals are idiots. I just saw them last week, and it was the best show i have ever been too. His vocals are great. Name me one singer who can sound exactly as they do on their studio albums? ADTR all day!

Shwaggy Nick Jeremy is hella good live. Also Chester Bennington was just as good live if not better than the studio.

Daniel Johns from Silverchair was stellar live.

Parkway Drive actually sounds better live than they do in studio and that's fucking hard to pull off.

Normally this is mad accurate but Shane told from Silverstein is literally identical it’s scary.

I can sing them. And by the way: he is the singer of the song, he should be able to sing it easily.
@rene30757 жыл бұрын
Even if it's true i'd would be very unfortunate if singer lose their ability to sing high notes after years. I will ask my vocal coach how to prevent that. I wanna sing for a long time ^^
@jaydensouthey68134 жыл бұрын
Alot of the time in live shows singers will avoid high notes, especialy in a high energy show, by the end of the show its really hard to hit highs. Its a risk that can be avoided by using a scream or a different note and still sound good
