My style has largely changed because of people like u and Freddy u have shown me how I can be girly and feminine even in the winter which has always been a struggle for me plus wearing clothes that I feel good in and not caring what other people think so keep inspiring me with your lovely look books and fashion hauls I can’t get enough of them xx

I love how you don’t take yourself too seriously and can laugh at fashion through the years. Wonderful photos. The homemade costumes and outfits show the creativity you had then and demonstrate today in your beautifully shot photos and vlogs. Xx

I believe a lot of fashion designers and others started out by sewing some of their own clothes, as you can actually get better quality for less money. It shows initiative, too. A couple of things: Strapless bras have been around probably since the 50's and nude tights have been out of fashion for at least 15 years here in the States - not that the States necessarily are ahead of Europe. (I was born in Finland and spent 8 years in London in 75-82!) I think we all laugh at our taste in younger years in photos, when we were still experimenting and hadn't found our true style yet. But I can definitely tell, that a person in their 20's is awfully young, because they think 2010 was a loooong time ago, lol!

This is so precious, it's such a great idea to make a trip down the memory lane! It's so much fun to see things change, we sometimes don't even remember things looking that way, but luckily it's all documented! You'd rock the Wellies as well, and make a chick countey look! I feel like everyone has gone from bodycon dresses and uber high heels to something more modest in the last decade..

Almost all of us dressed horribly during our early 20s and our college years. It's the age that we couldn't appreciate quality, we tried to look different and gain attention so we picked maximal and extravagant clothes that we didn't know how to match and, of course, we didn't know what piece of clothing is better for our body and our style. Nonetheless, it's funny how clueless we were back then and how much better we feel about ourselves as we become confident and mature women.

Very interesting your development. We can learn much about how to style. I believe that style has a lot to do with your own personality. When the personality develops, you try different styles. When you find inner peace, you stay true to a certain style.

A nice visit down memory lane. You looked about 17 in those pictures! Life is like this: ten years down the road you'll be looking at your pictures from today and you'll be laughing at your head band! LOL. Those were in style in part of the 70's and then again in the 80's. I've been there, done that. :-).

You and Freddy have definitely helped me change my style. I had the most boring clothes in my wardrobe which I even feel bad about looking back at. Today I am more confident and because I don't think about what people would label me based on my style I am happier as well. My style has evolved from monotonous basic to chic and feminine.

It's so clear looking back, that you were destined to be in the fashion industry. Another thing that really stood out is how comfortable you felt in front of the camera.....even 10 years ago. My colouring is for warm winter whites and taupes, however I will never lose my Boho and it's jewel tunes for the summer and I'm in my 60's. I've been a student of fashion since the mid- 70's and 12 years ago I spent another year in uni for film/wardrobe. I've loved your journey as much as my own. I loved seeing a glimpse into your fashion evolution! If we haven’t already been there and done that, hopefully it will happen soon. When you find your personal style, the changes from year to year are less dramatic! Once you find what looks best on you and what makes you feel the most confident, the trends matter less and less! But it’s always fun to revisit those “what on earth was I thinking” photos from the early days! Great video filled with giggles, fun and quite a bit of “what were you thinking”?!!! 😉😆😉😂 Happy, Happy New Year!

Oh, I loved this! I think we're about a year apart and our fashion evolution has been very similar! I started out with the wildest mish-mash of outfits that were so colorful and chaotic, then went to a very neutral color story, dipped my toe in and out of vintage, 50's-inspired outfits, and now I think I'm finally figuring out how to combine all the things I love into my own unique stye. Very jealous of how well your eyebrows grew back from the over plucked days, though!!

So funny to see what you wore the past 10 years! As I said I also lately watched yout first video! My style hasnt changed that much as i am a stylist and in my early 50’s so I already knew my style then and already invested in timeless classic pieces( without looking ‘ old’ and am still wearing my clothing from then!! Really nice video!! I defintely recognized photos from years ago that I saved for inspiration!

It's really nice to see that something like your own "fashion style" is not something you just get but that it is something that develops over time. Maybe the fashion sense of some people is better than the one of others to begin with - but if you keep an open mind about it, it is something that can improve and you can always learn new tricks. I learned so much in the last recent years that I would not trade places with my "10 years in the past"-self. But what do I know - I can't imagine what my "10 years in the future"-self will think of my current fashion choices.

You look like a bestie, so cute, loveable and loving life, not afraid to experiment and have fun with style ideas, which we all did in our teens and early twenties ;) Perhaps I saw that in a way, Charlie was also on a style journey of his own as well? I would say your transformation went from trendy to timeless, I am so amazed that you made your own outfits and jewellery, that's talent! Thank you for this fun video Josie, it's important to see that discovery is not overnight, there is no rush in finding your true self.
