Does it have to be so hard? Maybe. But does it have to be so divisive? Social and Emotional Learning Coach Bobby Berg shares his unique perspective on divorce, suggesting a supportive and empathetic approach that keeps in mind the love that initially brought spouses together. Bobby is a Social and Emotional Learning Coach for at-risk youth. “What does that even mean?” You might be asking. Can I give you an example? You get home from a long day, and you haven’t been able to shake that nagging feeling. Something felt slightly off this morning, and now it’s the end of the day and you’re still feeling it. What Bobby does is he helps you identify what that nagging feeling is, and most importantly, gives you the tools, strategies, and mindset to overcome it. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Fantastic storyteller, Bobby! - felt like we were there alongside you as you were getting a divorce. You and Jenny both seem to have found peace in this difficult decision, super inspiring.

They did not have children. So no problem. No alimony etc.

What a great perspective. I really appreciate Bobby's authenticity and vulnerability in telling this story. I love the point about how we don't have to let fear of the unknown stop us from moving forward. Thanks, Bobby!

Such a beautiful story that reflects what's possible if we keep choosing to act out of love even while it's crumbling. May we all learn its lesson.

All pretty lovely stories aside, if you don't have kids, and you feel it I s over, it's over. Good example of amicable exit of marriage.
