Mann I just finished supercell & just like you said every African/Carribean would definitely appreciate the series! I cannot wait for season 2, really hoping it doesn’t get cancelled :/

Carribeans who came to England in the 50s and 60s were forced to buy houses. No one would rent to them and if they did, the rent was inflated. 1st generation carribeans owned their own houses in south london ....Brixton, Clapham, Battersea, Notting Hill. They bought large houses so they could send for relatives and rent rooms to them until they bought their own houses. The 1st generation have mostly sold up and returned to the Carribean. They were able to give their children substantial downpayments on houses. We are now priced out of Brixton, Clapham and Battersea, where the average 3/4 bedroom house is over £1M

I absolutely loved Supacell. I have watched it twice already and I will be going back! The story, the cast - amazing! Can't say more because I don't want to spoil it but it was phenomenal 🙌🏾

Twas a great series, I'll admit to being a white 59 year old NOT from London who needed the subtitles..... Is taht so bad? I don't think so, I was in London last year for a day or two and could have use subtitles then as well :) Roll on series 2.
