It's so telling. As a person who does some personal counselling, I look at these lockdown measures and see "no touching, no visiting one on one, no sharing a smile as we pass on the street." How much does it help a suffering person to feel that steadying hand of support, how much does it uplift a shut-in to take an hour to visit? I have so often seen a crying child who was inconsolable by their parent, and a smile and a wave can can break their state and bring them back to normal. But they can't see my smile any more. They can't see their parent's loving face, and of course, they are upset. If someone told you they could order your smile away, would you even believe it? We've given them our ability to interact like humans, and they had no right to take it.

A great way to summarize what you said: "Our government should guarantee individuals equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome." The outcome depends on what the person does with the opportunity. Not everyone is willing to work or take full advantage of the opportunities they are afforded. I've heard this for the second time in the last few days. Curious, exactly what part of the Constitution are people concerned has been violated (Serious Question)? The arguments I've heard have been surrounding legal votes versus illegal votes, and the only specifics I've heard are about dead people voting. I've seen a few of these looked into, and those have been addressed. But the legal versus illegal aspect interests me, as I don't know that the Constitution specifies what makes a vote "legal or illegal." The only Constitutional requirements I have seen are citizenship, and over the age of 18.

@@CPhase2 .. what concerns me are the 300 lawsuits presented over the lat year that used the State executives and courts to change election laws instead of the state legislatures as required by the US Constitution.

@@allenfishbeck when you say "change election laws," what do you mean? Again, my basis is that Constitutionally, we must be US citizens over the age of 18. Beyond that, I'm not really familiar with state laws, but those wouldn't be Constitutional.
@allenfishbeck3 жыл бұрын
@@CPhase2 state laws must follow the constitution when it pertains to Federal Office, President, Vice President, US Senators, US Representatives for election purposes.. The US Constitution states that the State Legislatures shall provide their states the election laws to be used. When the State Executives and Courts (both state and federal courts) usurp the legislatures election laws by changing something in the election law for the state, then that election law becomes unconstitutional. To make the law that has been changed by the executive or court constutional, the legislature would have to adopt the changes into the election law during an active session to codify the law. Until that happens, the changed law is unconstitutional on its face.

@@allenfishbeck Thanks for the lesson. Which Amendment talks about this (I may have glassed over it)? It sounds very detailed, and I'd like to educate myself on it further.

Get em' Schneider!!! Call them out! This is what everyone needs to hear. I'm so sick of these "celebrities" telling us how to think and what we should do. Stay strong! 🇺🇸💪

You’re an idiot! You didn’t listen to a damn thing he said. He was talking about others who are mean, and demean others for not standing with the left.

@@Fred_Stallone "You’re an idiot!" Really? You sound very triggered; apparently being mean, and demean isn't just for the left. Think about that for just a moment before you attempt to respond.

@Philip Marc agreed, but if that's so, let people say what they will without hoping DeNiro's film "didn't do well" (John's words) or to suggest a life long Republican like The Rock, a producer with 38 production credits is "working for someone" else is glib.
