In a previous video, I shared some beautiful combinations for coloring leaves. I had quite a few of you ask me to bring you more color combinations for leaves and continue with this page in Magical Jungle. In this video, I will be sharing with you a different way to color leaves without giving thought to light and shadow placement. This is a very easy tutorial for anyone, whether beginner or experienced colorist, to follow. Happy Coloring!

I just love your tutorials! They are very clear and easy to understand!! Prismas are obviously your favorite pencils to work with and I love them as well. However, I would really enjoy a few tutorials on FC Polychromos. I am fairly new at coloring and still learning to master my tools. 😅 thanks in advance.

Pamela, I love you tutorials. I find myself learning a lot. Thank you so much. I had gotten away from my coloring to ddo DP but I miss my coloring. There are things I've forgotten that's because I was just learning them. I won't do that again. Lol

My favorite "leaf recipe" of yours to date & of course going in my recipe book. It looks like a lovely exotic animal holding court in the jungle. Yes you are right...everyone should have a colored pencil color-combo recipe book....! Looking forward to more lovely leaves...

Excellent explanation and tutorial. The large center leaf made me think of the colors on a Croton plant. An outdoor large foliaged ornamental I saw all over Florida. Since watching your channel I've actually been to several hardening websites and looked up "colorful foliage"' plants for different parts of the U.S. I never miss your videos and how you explain and demonstrate everything. Thanks.

As soon as I started coloring with pencils I had to give it up, because it caused too much pain in my wrist and upper arm. However, your videos are really wonderful and very helpful. Thanks!

@@PamelasPassionforPencils thank you for your concern! I switched to alcohol markers so now I color without putting pressure on my wrist and upper arm. I use pencil to add small details, shadow, or highlights over the dried alcohol ink. So all is not lost!

...sigh...watching you color you do it SO BEAUTIFULLY!! I never learned color wheel etc etc so am totally lost and find everything so difficult 😞 I have best colored pencils and coloring books but do nothing because I don’t want to do something wrong and waiste pencils or ruining coloring pages😩😢thank you for sharing your absolutely gorgeous coloring♥️

Hi Pamela! First I wanna thank you for creating this channel. One of the best for tutorials. I've been doing my best to follow what your teaching but I just can't get the hang of it. I see everyone's colored pages and they look so clean and vibrant. Mine look dirty, streaky and smudges every where. I'm getting frustrated and finding it hard to complete a page. I'm a little poor and don't have alot to work with. (Lol ) Sorry to vent but did anyone go through this?

Pamela, you fooled me. I thought that the smallest little areas you filled in were supposed to be slits in the leaf, like my Split-Leaf Philodendron!

Hi! I have been binging all of your videos. In your videos you reference different styles or ways of holding or using your pencils aka flicking or circular motion or stuff like that. I would find it helpful to know how to use those techniques and knowing when to use those techniques. If you have 1 already I am sure I will find it in my binging. I just thought if not it would be a helpful video.

I did those in my own time so there wouldn't be a video. I'm sorry. I do have lots of videos coloring leaves though. If you go to the playlists section of my channel, you will find a whole playlist for leaves.

Several people are asking for to see the video on the bird but I didn’t color the bird as a tutorial. I did this one alone on my own while testing my Pablos when they were new. I can do a video of a tropical bird with bright vibrant colors.
