How can it be a surprise when league replays already stopped. To tell the truth i thought they were already stopped in fa cup.

The reality is that liwer league teams would rather play away at a big team, get hammered and take the money.

The number of games at domestic level, the European cups and international duties are hectic for players... Scrapping the replays is not bad actually

Premier league clubs, especially the top 6, have huge youth team player numbers ie City ,Chelsea, utd, Lfc etc these clubs DO have the numbers to play many games per season... force them to field youth players ..simples

Don't think that works, surely the smaller team and players are hoping for an away draw at the larger clubs ground? if the top six don't want to play in the league cup or fa cup, then don't, selfish lot.

Simple fix, for instance if Crewe Alexandra is drawn at home to Liverpool, give Crewe the choice to play at home or at anfield, also get rid of extra time, go straight to penalties,do this and everyone can stop moaning ffs
