I'm going with the Alexander remix suggestion there. Ravenguard is not at the cemetery, he is at the High Hall. He sends the chatracters here to get the Torm's Helm. They find out about the portal from Gideon and can choose if they help with that or if they get the helm and leave. This module is full of parts where they remove the protagonism of the players and give it to some random NPC. I like the idea of one of the players putting on the helm and getting locked into it. Then when they all go back to High Hall to do the ritual and remove it, they all have to contribute for it forming a circle. As they assist on removing the helmet, they get locked into the vision and witness it together.

I know exactly what you mean. Same like I said with Reya. It does seem like the focus is on NPCs. That's why I want a player to experience what Ravengard saw too. It worked out well. I've seen some of the Alexandrian articles. But I was already into avernus when I discovered it. Great resource though.
