Does anyone else talk to their dogs or any pets like their going to actually reply? Just stuff like 'Did you see where I left my phone?' or 'Is that really the time?'

When I saw this film, I loved every minute of it! I adore animals, all of them, and yes Katy S, I used to talk to my dogs too!!

I enjoyed this movie as a kid. It was adorable to watch and funny seeing John getting into frantic situations with his childhood ability.

Every animal lovers dream is to be able to talk to animals. When I had cats I would talk to them and sing to them. When I left the house I would be affectionate with saying goodbye and affectionate when returning home. They didn't understand me but I hope they understood the tone in my voice

I fell in love with both versions of Doctor Dolittle. I have better conversations with animals than I do with most people, even though we don't speak the same language, I know that they can understand me. It is a real shame that we cannot speak to the animals like in the Doctor Dolittle movies, oh yeah, Robert Downey, Jr. also played Doctor Dolittle once.

The other day, I was out in my backyard, pulling weeds from the woodchips. One of my chickens walked up behind me and said, "Don't you see that snake?" I looked around for a snake, but didn't see it. Wait a minute...I looked back at the chicken. She turned around and said to the other chicken, "She doesn't even see it." And they both rolled their eyes and walked away. 😳 Needless to say, I gave up on weeding for the day. 🐍

You don't have to act or to be as dr dolittle. Just follow your heart. Open it and you will understand that animals are always there and communicate us.

I watched this movie years ago and can understand why this movie was a huge hit in that people don't really understand animals which in my mind is a gift from GOD I would say 100 percent don't understand pets because we are human beings it takes a long time unless you are a veterinarian and they are not cheap, rather very expensive and I have had pets my whole life takes a long time to understand your pets

Rats usually have bald tails; nice usually have tails with fur on them.

One of my older chickens 🐔 , Freckles, has been terrorizing some young hens and cockerels. 🐥 She chases them around and pecks them when they're not looking. She barely let's them eat and drink. One day, I was squatting down with one of the younger ones, Brownie, a gorgeous young rooster. 🐓 "Brownie," I said. "Why don't you like me?" I asked him, certain that I wouldn't get a response. He started peeping and buck-buck-bucking, and what I heard from him was this, "It's not you I don't like, it's Freckles. She's mean and she scares us." 😳 Well, at least I know it's not me.

Watching this video reminds me of when I was young and my parents wanted me to go to summer camp, so I went but I didn't like it, and from then on I said no,also when my father took us to a expensive restaurant, me and my brothers would order a soup and salad, and my father asked us why, I told him that I didn't want to spend his money on us, I told him I would rather stay at home, even on my birthday I said DAD I want to stay at home rather than going to a expensive restaurant, my mother didn't work just to save money for the family it's to hard to make money and it's to easy to spend it

I don't talk to animals, but i sometimes talk to inanimate objects... "So wallet, you think it is funny hiding at home when i go to the shops and cannot pay for anything?
