If that was really a true statement wouldn't that mean nobody would have been the first to do anything? I'm not saying representation doesn't matter by the way, I just don't think it matters to the extent that "you can't be what you can't see" because clearly people can...

I didn't think it was possible to see a black woman in engineering amongst a bunch of white men and stand out, but I did, and that encouraged me to pursue engineering. stop looking for a problem where there's nothing to be upset about. thank you and have a good day.
