Design Thinking is an evolving methodology used for creative problem solving. Originating in design and engineering, it has gained influence in everything from business challenges to educational curriculum, to daily life decisions. Inspired by the process of design thinking, this crowdsource-funded documentary features designers, businessmen, social change-makers and unlikely individuals discussing the achievements and the criticisms of this invigorating school of thought. Features David Kelley (Founder, IDEO), Dan Formosa (Co-Founder, Smart Design), Richard Grefé (CEO, AIGA), Susan Szenasy (Editor in Chief, Metropolis), and many more.
How do we fully engage organizations to think about the changing landscape of business, culture and society? Inspired by design thinking, this documentary grabs businessman, designers, social change-makers and unlikely individuals to portrait what they have in common when facing this ambiguous 21st century. What is design thinking? How is it applied in business models? How are people changing the world with their own creative minds? It is a call to the conventional minds to change and collaborate.
