It is alluring to see how this one is again different from your previous ones (especially the last Tangled one) in tone as well as style and composition, it really shows how diverse you are! In my commentary I have spoken a lot about the importance of striking a balance, on the one hand, between voice, act and visuals, and on the other hand between cover and originality. I have applauded your personal touch in these videos, so when you divert from the Princess and show the real you, and this one is in that regard even better than Someday My Prince Will Come. Your take on the song resembles a lullaby, with the usual fitting and beautiful piano arrangement, and especially in the chorus it becomes clear how much sense it makes to interpret the song like that and how stunningly suited your voice is for this song. With little Ashland in there it seems that Cinderella's presense was unnecessary, which makes it appear as if you were not sure what to do with her. It is so much your story that I was wondering throughout the whole video what her role would be and the answer to that was a bit well...underwhelming. In Almost There you became a white Tiana and in your Enchanted video you became a rather annoying version of Giselle albeit one that fitted the video from a narrative point of view, which is not really the case here. Your interpretations of the Princesseses don't have to be literal (and actually benefit from not being so) but I think in this case leaving her out of it altogether would have been better than this minimal role. I did not quite understand the parts with the blue background either, so the video left me puzzled about what Cinderella was doing there more than just being in there for the sake of it, which in turn makes it appear as if the video is unfinished or made in a rush. We all know of course how much work you put into these videos, so that would be a shame! Maybe I just misunderstood it, which is perfectly fine of course. I would suggest that if you decide to be more personal in your approach you should either go all the way or be more captious with those three points I spoke of. On a more positive note, while breaking away from this balance you put your voice more to the center of attention and you really outdid yourself there; this is one of those videos which are visually less interesting than say your Tangled video but vocally outstanding, which leads to my final conclusion that your video is still amazing. I am looking forward to the next one!
