That's a very long drive. Beautiful scenery, the area looks great, it's somewhat populated. Lots of bicycle 🚲. Great roads there too. Enjoy.💯👌🙏👍🏽🇬🇾🇬🇾

You did a really good job on the Lethem trip, very detailed and even went into Brazil. First time I've seen someone drove into Brazil. They speak mostly Portuguese there! Hopefully they can fix the road to Lethem like the one in Brazil, it will be a breeze to drive to and from Lethem!

the closest meaningful Brazalian city to Guyana is Manaus. It is one of the oldest, and at one time the most important city of brazil. One can argue that Brazil started with Manaus...( back in the days of rubber). And you guys are fortunate that it is relatively close to guyana. If you can make it to Manaus, then you would have made a significant trip. of course the glory days of manaus are over. But history remains.

It seems to me the longest straight road in Guyana - or is it equally as the “Nineteen Road” around Palmrya area - do you know That Henry Ford in 1950s offer to build the road connecting Lethem and Linden , linking coastal Guyana and Lethem on one condition that only Ford cars would drive on it. But the British refuse his proposal. The Brazilian built that road not Jagdeo - the Brazilian come to Lethem to make purchases since they find the goods on the Guyana side so much cheaper.(lol) Long drive - be safe. It is time for you to take a break and concentrate on your second child (lol).

Very interesting. Didn’t know the area was so developed. Lots of kids didn’t quite see where they live but best not to go wandering off the road if you don’t speak the language. Nice roads your poor car was probably crying with joy 😄

Hello Guys you all suprise me,I never dream you guys would go to Brazil, you all getting adventurest. I am so suprised so many people are rideing bikes in Brazil, it shows the poverty in Brazil, but the town looks very sad and rundown, and no real shopping centre, no wonder the Brazilians portuguse come to Lethem to shop.

I went to Lethem in the 90s and the infrastructure in Bom Finn compare to Lethem was total opposite. They had running water, 24 hrs light, television and telephone, streets were well paved etc. Come back to Lethem and it was shitty.
