Venti, Zhongli, and Ei have truly the saddest stories. All three of them lost something with every step in achieving progress, venti lost his bard friend, zhongli lost guizhong and Ei lost makoto. Considering they are immortal (being ageless) they must have developed huge survivor's guilt and for sure must have some levels of depression. Its strange humanizing godlike entities but its great food for thought.
