ABOUT ME
I’m 33 years old and I’m a sheep farmer from Ayrshire in South West Scotland, which is why I have such a strong accent! I was born and raised on a sheep farm watching my dad who was the shepherd.
At 18 I went away from farming to work in the city s a Police Officer and at 23 (2013) I decided I wanted to do something for some extra money so I went on a sheep shearing course. The hardest thing I’ll ever do was learning to shear sheep. [shudders thinking about it]
I shore whilst on my holidays from work for 2 years and then in 2015 my dad died so I decided to get my own sheep so I could continue working with sheep as it was something I loved doing. From there it escalated quickly from my first 4 sheep in my mum’s garden to now running around 1200 breeding ewes.
A few years ago I bought myself a sheep pregnancy scanner and have been building up my run since then.
I watched a few farm vlogs on KZfaq and decided I could have a go and now here we are!
Since starting The Sheep Game I have met Lizzy and had two incredible boys Jock and Angus. You will see them all on this channel!

It must be quite the experience, Cammy, thinking back to your first vlog and now a tv personality on Landward and your cutout image being used for advertising by CF Moto. Your positivity and honesty, especially supporting all farmers is a credit to your parents. I'm sure your Dad's with you in spirit cheering you, Lizzy and your ever expanding family on. Way to Go!

Those 360 cameras on a pole can produce some amazing shots. After seeing what they can do at auto races and fairs, I can't wait for some action sheep herding!

That was fun! Your big personality carries you along, and we're privileged to join you for the journey. Those up close drone shots of the cows were great. The poor animals must have been traumatized. Good luck Lizzie, you know what you're doing, that wee lass will pop out easy as pie! Great vlog, Cammy, made me miss going to livestock shows and the California Mid-State Fair in July every year. That is a huge one, tons of cattle, sheep, pigs, and miscelaneous critters like Llamas and miniature horses. These shows are great fun tho!

Now I have to buy something. I want also a plastic bac. Nice cam, but it doesn't reach to Sweden 🇸🇪, I think 🤔 😂. I love to see lamming season in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. I have seen Scotland only seen in winter and the rest of the UK in rain. 😢 What a nice weather, ☀ everywhere. But I can't complain, we have also nice weather. The drone make nice pictures. This video 📹 is really beautiful. You have become a real good vlogger. I thought you where more in sheep but you like the cows also. I've been on holiday for a couple of weeks so only just caught up with this channel. Looked like a crackin' day out! Got to love it when the sun shines on events like this, makes such a difference. Brilliant Vlog of The Ayr Show, hoping that I get my powered wheelchair before The Highland Show so that I can come along and meet everyone. It was great to see all the sheep & cattle and especially to see all the young farmers and the lads & lassies really look up to you Cammy, you’re like the Pied Piper of Farmers. Looked like everyone had a marvellous time, what a fabulous trailer hoping it pays for itself with the shows. Not long to Little Miss Wilson, I can’t wait to see her in Lizzy’s arms and for her 2 big brothers to teach her all their tricks & I know she is going to wrap her daddy round her little finger. I enjoy your vlogs very much. Ya talk to us like we're just a neighbor stopping by to chew the fat a minute. Lizzy deserves so much credit for working on into her late pregnancy term. You're a lucky man. I know you probably edit out some of the children melt downs, but it's great how you include the the ankle biters into your chore times too.

I'd love it if you'd talk about the different breeds while you do a walkabout among the sheep. There are loads of breeds we don't see much of the US. Sunscreen - because skin cancer is bad. 😃 Lovely weather for the show, and I'll bet it's great to catch up with everyone.
