I have the kits out in the garden every day to handle and watching them play is always entertaining

@@DougCraigTheFerretMan …awesome mate , In Regards to mating ferrets Doug not sure if you done a video on breeding them in detail so I thought I would ask , is there a system you go by with the females , like dog bitches they have like 7 day coming on heat and 7 days on and then going off heat , do you pick a number of days with the female before introducing her to a buck etc or just put them together for a period amount of time etc , any thoughts or videos much appreciated , I know it’s usually spring time for the females or there abouts , I have. Bred ferrets along time ago but I really didn’t know if I was doing the right thing , males can do a bit of damage to the females when left to long with the female at least from what I remember , anyway sorry about the long winded inquiry here , thanks in advance if you got any input on it. First you teach the pup or dog NO means NO but most of the time you can just growl at the dog when he goes near them after a few times they realize they are not the prey but an ally, most dogs bon't even bother with them from the start unless you start the dog late.
