look up the homie @kern317 he has 2 big turbo b58 set ups both big turbo I believe one is a manual as well. maybe you could have a change of heart seeing his engine bay and hearing what he has to say about boosting a stock block b58

I know they can be reliable with more power but it comes along with spending more money & taking the daily drivability from the car. The basic supporting mods for upgraded turbo is Port injection , meth, R compound tires & possible upgraded trans at one point. The car will not be a daily driver anymore, that's a build lol

I have my JL 10 firing through the middle section i have folded down in my back seat. Sounds amazing. Plus side is also no rattles since it’s not confined to the trunk only.

B58 turbo upgrade isn’t really stressful if you go on a hybrid, it’s low key more of a bolt on lol. I never had any problems with M240i (gen1 B58) and apparently the gen2 are more forgiving, as long as you go hybrid and not big turbo

If you get rid of that CTS intake, the car will pick up a good amount of power. That intake heat soaks so bad and these cars pull timing out when the IAT's go up.

@@Freshhkiicks You can still hear it if you get one with a full box like MST or Dinan. Those would bring the IAT's down. Or get the RKautoworks one which sits in the grill so it's a full cold air intake.
