Juri has a huge advantage over other characters with install moves in that fuha stacks are the result of an attack rather than just an animation that either leaves the character open to attack or forces them to sacrifice oki. She is complex but she pays back the effort spent on learning her with interest.

The most liberating thing is learning all the FSE combos and oki. This character feels like an older fighting game character planted into a modern game.

Juri is pretty strong in most fields were others lack. Her combos are also very easy to combo into with drive rush. They did a good job making her easier to play compared to SFV. Juri is definitely of the best characters in the game. Great vid

Excited to see the growth with this character. I definitely suffer from the same thing you mentioned of wanting to "skip ahead" and blaze up the ranks, but getting the foundation of the character and all her basics down is going to pay off BIG time in the long run. I think learning slowly and thoroughly will really make you way better at the character and the game in general. Thanks for another great video.

I got her to Diamond 3 in just a few days... Now im lost because i dont use fuha combos neither feng shui engine =\

GREAT video and GREATLY INFORMED my day 2 Juri as well. I play deejay so finding ways to extend off drive rush is like CRACK to me!

The only problem I have with the Fuha mechanic is looking up at the wrong side of the screen to see how many stocks I have lol. Which is especially confusing in a mirror match. But you can use her vocal cues to tell how many stocks you have too.

One thing I like to do with her low fireball is jump MK (preferably cross cut) and if they block MP,DMP into fireball and it’s plus 10. Then if they move up you got time for a stand fierce into drive rush then blah blah blah awesome Juri shit lol

I haven't played her but she's my most frequent opponent for some reason and ive noticed what youre pointing out about her combo routes and the "fork" moment. The drawback, though, is she seems really boring. Every combo from her kind of feels like the same combo.
