We sit down with Driver Phuc Mai to discuss his perspective in the fire service. We talk about life as a cadet, in the field, and as a paramedic. Driver Mai is a first generation Vietnamese American, who is a role model in the department as well as his community. Driver Mai mentors in a youth program where, among many other things, helps the youth reconnect with their heritage.
