A-Frame is a very technical trail (like every trail at Spring mountain) with a couple of fast and flowy sections. A fair bit of technical riding ability is needed to ride this trail comfortably but there are ride arounds for every feature so intermediate level riders should be able to get through most of the trail. Spring mountain used to be a lift access downhill park called Launch Bike Park, but it was shut down in 2014 because of "low rider numbers, a lack of resources, and an increasing concern over liability risks". The bike park decided to close down the private park and open it up to the public, allowing anyone crazy enough the hike or pedal up (me :) ) to ride the remaining trails. The dangerous features have been taken down and certain trails are maintained by volunteers so it is now safe to ride. Note that there is a difference between a dangerous feature and a feature that requires a lot of technical ability. Even though some of the features have high consequences, they are all predictable, structurally strong, and are within reason, making for a "safe"/reasonable trail. But with 334ft of strait downhill, A-Frame provides a great 3 minute run filled with creative wood and rock features! If you have any questions about the trail or anything related, don't hesitate to ask in the comment section below!
(shuttling is not allowed here even though there is a fire road to the top)
