I loved that you covered some of the different things that TN has to offer to a tourist. It's nice to see a visitor go someplace other than NY, Florida, Texas and California. People outside of the U.S. seem to have no idea just how much, and different, each state has to offer. I would guess like how many Americans don't realize there are other places of interest in France other than Paris. 😉

Whoever is showing you around Nashville has got to be a local. He knows the good spots to go! I'm glad you're getting to see this part of the country. Most tourists go to the major US cities, Vegas, or maybe big attractions like Yellowstone, Yosemite, or the Grand Canyon. But as you've surely come to see, "flyover country" (between NY and LA =) is a totally different and great experience too. I hope you felt welcome and had a wonderful time! -A Midwest native qui toujours aime la France!

I saw you visiting the American Cemetery at Normandy on your other channel! Since this past Thursday was the 80th anniversary of DDay! I’m glad I saw the link to this channel! The stories on YT of French people who still honor the soldiers, and now the children and grandchildren of those soldiers, who liberated their towns! And you visiting the American Cemetery in Normandy, and showing your raw emotions seeing all the crosses and stars. Is just awesome to see! Viva liberty !

Yes and I would recommend going to Clarksville / Ft. Campbell and visiting the Pratt Museum. I know it can be a pain to get on post but it is worth it. I was stationed at Ft. Campbell as my last duty station and now live in Nashville. FTCKY is the home of the 101'st

@@mistrsynistr7644 You're correct. Also, (and I have no idea why this information has gotten in and somehow stayed in my head for decades now! LOL!) for more trivia on it, from 1994 - 2005 it was the Bellsouth Building. It was almost called the South Central Bell Building also because they became Bellsouth when South Central Bell merged with Southern Bell. Years before they had split off from Southern Bell but got acquired back by them and the company kept using both of those company names up until '95 to avoid the costs of renaming everything, changing signs, advertising, etc., but they knew they would eventually change the entire company to be named Bellsouth and wanted their brand new building in Nashville to not only be the tallest one in Nashville, but also be their grand announcement of the new Bellsouth name.

Hi Marie , Tennessee's on my mind 🤠🎻 ✨ Now that's what I call a hearty lunch , used to those larger portions yet , you sure get your money's worth. 😋 'Athens of the South ' The replica of the Parthenon 🏛️ Impressive , a enduring symbol of democracy. It was built to celebrate Tennessee 100 year old birthday & originally was going to be temporary made from plaster , it was torn down in 1920 & rebuilt again more like the original in Greece. I like the colourful detailed native art & the wonderful paintings. The wooden crane shows the ingenuity the inventers had so long ago like Archimedes. The marbles were casted from the originals , maybe the British will return them to a Greek museum someday soon. Whoa!!! It's mighty Athena , goddess of wisdom , what a sight to behold & all made from fiberglass by Alan Lequire, she was plan white for 12 years until gilder Lou Reed took on the project for 8 years. I like the attention to detail with her face , it's the largest sculpture in the western world. You can watch a recreation & walk around ancient Athens & see how people lived. Cracker Barrel dish's looked tasty , homestye cooking with a southern twist , grandma sample & fried chicken with honey are popular. It was bigger with families back in the 70s & 80s & partners with country performers to raise money for charitable causes like the victims of hurricane Katrina & war veterans. With it not changing with the times & not making much money there planning on rebranding it , I hope it doesn't lose it's charm & become to modern. Radner Lake has some great trails , the scenery gorgeous , I like how diverse it is with so many critters 🐐 🐿️🦦 & wild plants 🌿 & that you can plan a guided tour with a ranger on a canoe float if you like or go stargazing. I can't be sure but that bird looked like a gold finch & scarlet tanager are common place to , they sing like a robin ( chick - burr ) with a sore throat. It would be awesome if you got up close to a 🦅 I've seen them being rescued after landing in the water or getting injured , there formidable but know when your trying to help them. I noticed from the map the Otter's have a large area , one of my favourite animals , so curious & playful , it was world Otter day recently. It's marvelous having a wildlife haven not far from the city. There having a big event there Today. Broadway was energetic but had a different vibe to it compared with other northern cities , the skyscraper were something else & I like the classic neon signs with cowgirls etc , there used to be a movie house ' the lucky 7 ' lit up in neon that I went to as a kid. The market was terrific , who doesn't like to have a tasty quiche sometimes. I could see your mom settling up a stall there with her homemade jam. You Rocked that big chair 🪑 it's cool when your sitting out on the porch back & forth watching the sunset with a sweet tea or a beer. That was a fancy BBQ joint you went to , Martin's got a smokin menu. The nightlife 🌆 there really buzzing , the live music fire dancing to the beat , it's a wild scene , you didn't let it overwhelm you , if you hung out to often you'll soon burn out. I'm happy that Tennessee turning out to be a success , you have that midas touch when it comes to editting , hopefully you've got around to seeing the best that the state has to offer before the thurderstorms spoils things. I wanna know if biscuits with gravy is as good as they say it is , they'll make a southern gal out of you before to long .Have a blessed Sunday , merci beaucoup Mustang Marie , Take care , Au revoir le moment. 😊 ❣️🌼 I'll send a few donations during the month like always ✌️

Beautiful city, so much to do and see over there. Planning a trip to Pensacola/Destin (one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen and I’m from DR in the Caribbean), New Orleans, Memphis, Nashville, Atlanta, Charleston, Savannah, St. Augustine. I love America, is without a doubt the most beautiful, diverse, unique, impressive, innovative, rich, powerful, influential country in history of the world. There’s so much to do over there. I have traveled 65% of Florida and everything I’ve seen is really good to perfect (great cities like West Palm Beach, Naples, Sarasota, Lido Key, Clearwater, Palm Beach, St. Petersburgh, Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Jupiter, Pensacola, Panama City, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Key West, etc) that I recommend visiting with many things to do, clean, organized, safe, great nightlife, beaches, tons of great restaurants, stores/malls everywhere, great for watching Mustangs/Dodge Chargers/Camaro/Corvette/Tesla. Greetings from DR

I hope you walked around downtown Franklin some. Broadway is even crazier during the annual CMA Fest. One year, the Doobie Brothers were playing on a street corner during CMA Fest. Also, a couple years ago at Radnor Lake, some ladies were walking, and a man was walking towards them. He said hello as he passed, and they realize it was Mick Jagger!

Bonjour Marie, great video. I really enjoyed the background music, and you look so cute in your cowgirl hat. My favorite part was the nature walk. Not a big fan of the nightlife. WSM 650 radio has been around for almost 100 years. It's considered the home of the Grand Ole Opry. WSM stands for We Shield Millions because it was started by an insurance company as a way to sell their products. 🇺🇲🇨🇵

Nashville is cool, lots of music history. I’ve been on Broadway St but not to the Parthenon. Hopefully you get to eastern Tennessee and Great Smoky Mountain NP. Lots of great hikes there including part of the Appalachian Trail. Home of the tallest mountain in TN, Clingmans Dome (6,644ft = 2,025 meters). Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg are crazy touristy towns but fun to visit. Also nearby GSMNP is the Tail of the Dragon, an infamous section of highway, 318 curves in 11 miles (17.7km). Lots of Mustang clubs visit there. I once saw over 30 Orange Mustangs lined up and ready to drive it!

I'm a senior I understand. Nashville is still growing in population, I believe. I Hope to see the other parts of the state and other visits (e.g., Look-out Mtn). The videos just keep getting better and better. I really enjoy your content. PS, I knew you would like Tennessee (and perhaps Tennessee whiskey or Kentucky Bourbon-more fun than wine tasting)! Big is a selling point doesn’t mean you have to eat it all. No one wants to sell you a small meal and leave you thinking you’re still hungry when you leave ! Wanna encourage you to come back you’re welcome to split it with your neighbor. Most places won’t complain.. Scott

All the food looks sooo good!🤤I walked through our farmers market today, as well (we also have them every Saturday). I didn't acquire any donuts, though.😂
