This is my attempt at a timelapse style video and my first Farming Simulator 22 video. I hope to improve and constructive feedback is appreciated.
Backstory: The old ranch and land has been left to the environment for years. It is in a state of decay and needs some extensive work to bring the ranch and lands back into shape. The land has ties to old family members and they were planning to put it up for auction. And with new regulations the land is now open to field work and logging. I convinced the family to sell it to me, but it has drained the savings and I had to pull a loan to finish covering it. I was able to find an old tractor with attachments and a logging trailer. Utilizing the resources available on the lands is our only hope otherwise changing our entire career was all for nothing!

Good quality. But just a thought, maybe do more of a variety of tasks in each episode. Maybe speed a bit faster through really repetitive work. For content sake. :)

Yeah, I’m almost finished with episode 2 and after watching it realized it is a bit monotonous. So after that I will try breaking it up or speeding through sections more:

I'm noticing time-lapses seem to do better further into the series or starting on new farmer because of all the different tasks you can do. I'm still really enjoying the time-lapse videos.

Can’t wait till we get signs that take away money for consoles so I could start at zero with a truck pice of land and chainsaw

Have you tried loading up a mod, buying a bunch of them until you are at 0 money then reload the save game without the mod selected? That is what I would do in FS19 before they had the money removal sign.

@@DecemberFarms from your time doing yt videos on this game what would you say is the best approach? Time-lapse or playthrough with commentary?

@@lfamilygamingdad I think it comes down to what your own preferences are as a creator and a viewer. I love watching a good commentary roleplay video, but I also really like the time lapse stuff because I can just flip it on and watch.

@@lfamilygamingdad As for content creation I enjoy timelapse because I can just play. And I do not have a lot of time to spend editing, so it makes it easier as well. I do hope to try out some commentary or livestreams in the future though!

@@DecemberFarms I'm working on time-lapse videos now and I work 60-72 hours a week so they are a lot easier to make on my day off. But I keep finding more and more comments about people wanting more commentary videos and less time-lapse. I'm sure I will try them out some day. We did commentary on our original family channel so I have the stuff to do it just don't have the time.

I am by no means an expert so I’m sure there are other videos or others who would be better. But I use a video editing software to speed up clips and then do my edits, transitions, text and music.

How are you able to cut the trees to size using a chain saw ?

On PC there is a mod called 'Measure' but there is also a newer mod called 'Lumberjack' that has a measuring tool as well.

@@brayton6683 I am not aware of anything, but I also do not play on console so I have not checked out any mods to be exact.
