For all the lore people: the Ko’okiri Body Plunge was how young Waturi tribe members (the locals to Volcano Bay) would sacrifice their fear once they had reached a certain age. Personally, I think climbing the stairs are proof enough to show a lack of fear, but the plunge is def a cherry on top!

Yup. Walked up every single step with 10 yo grandson last year fully expecting him to chicken out at the top. He did not. Oh my. And I absolutely cannot take the walk of shame. So I’ve done the coming of age plunge way,way past that actual time in my life. Just once. Never. Again. But I can’t wait to tell my grandson that he’s now of age per and via Volcano Bay. He’ll get a kick out of that. What we do for our grandkids.❤

The Pugh Two did it again! Two years ago one of their videos had me decide to buy annual passes. We spent 2023 traveling to Florida with the kids having a blast! We didn’t make it to Volcano Bay. Now we are definitely hitting up VB next time we are in FL. Thanks P2! Anna, I love your spirit ❤

We stayed in one of Cabana Bay Towers and the view overlooking Volcano Bay was arguably one of the best resort views we have ever had at a theme park. Sapphire falls had a really nice one also.

The body plunge stairs are why I started a workout program a few years ago. I got so tired, that a swore to be in shape the next time. It now known as my "waterslide workout". Great job doing it Anna!

The first time we ever went to Volcano Bay was literally a few months after it opened. We did the hike up the stairs to the body plunge but it broke down bc I guess they hadn’t worked out the bugs yet. We got tired of waiting so we got off and we never went back EVER AGAIN bc of that Everest Expedition-like hike. Bless your hearts.

If you’re coming from out of state with multiple people and NOT in summer….. then the cabanas are 100% worth the price! My family does it every time we go and we split the cost. We also usually go in October and the price is a lot cheaper than $1000 (it’s been cheaper sometimes in August too). You get privacy, a concierge who you can text orders too, guaranteed seating and shade with a safe, speakers for music and a fridge! Plus certain cabanas have little beaches separate from the main beach! There’s one area that I absolutely love because it doesn’t feel like I’m in a water park at all…. Sun, sand, music and food/drink brought directly to me?! Without the stress from being surrounded by a hundred strangers?! AND RIDES?! Worth it, worth it, worth it!

We plan to do the cabanas sometime when we have a big group to split it with! If you just have 3-4 couples it’s the same price as the private seating, which would totally be worth it. It just wasn’t worth it for the two of us lol

My husband and I are going to Universal Orlando May 5th-10th and I have been eating up the content since I discovered your channel a few weeks ago! You and Tyler are sooo funny and I swear my husband and I have a mutual friend that could be Tyler’s doppelgänger! They look very similar, have the same mannerisms, and even the same name so watching the videos is always like listening to a friend haha. I did one trap door slide at Cedar Point’s water park & as soon as it opened I did everything they tell you not to. 🤣🤣🤣 I think if there was a count down I would be more likely to try again, but not knowing when that sucker is going to open is a bit too much for me and I panic when it does. 🤣

A 38 minute Pugh Two video yessssss. Loving the long form guys!! So good seeing a Volcano Bay video. The vibe there is the best, the music, the sound of moving water everywhere, everyone's so chill. Aqua Coaster is definitely my fave ride, my partner and I always make a B line straight there as soon as we get in the park. Fearless River is a close second!

After getting waterboarding on my first trip to Volcano Bay, I bought googles specifically for Krakatau, it's a game changer! We were put in one of the towers at Cabana Bay on our last stay and that short walk was so nice. Especially the walk back with your wet stuff.

We went to Volcano Bay for the first time today and loved it. I think a tips vid is a great idea. The Tapu Tapu wearable is a bit confusing to first time visitors. I know I was. I'm so glad you did Ko'okuri, Anna. I did it and loved it. And I'd do it again. I agree that the stairs are brutal.

I love volcano Bay last year. We stayed at Cabana bay with the room view of the water park. It was so worth it. The immersion is incredible. The food is great. I love volcano bay can’t wait to go back. Keep up the wonderful content.

We didn't do the trap door slides but did the coaster twice, both rivers and some group slides. My husband was going to do the plung but I didn't want to be unable to find him without a phone on me. He loved the fearless river we went around twice. Lol

The coaster and the rivers are so fun! That’s definitely one of the difficulties of the water park. A lot of people wear the waterproof phone cases so they can keep their phones on them just for that reason!

MTV Cribs: Volcano Bay Edition 😉😂!!! Enjoyed watching from start to finish!!! I thought about getting the premium seats but went with the cabana (loved it but still feel the sting of the price 🤦🏽....it haunts me lol). Anna said it best, "Fighting for your life!" That's exactly how I felt in the Fearless River...I couldn't get out of that thing quick enough 😂!!!! I can't do the body slides because my body won't let me climb to the stop of the stairs; gotta get in shape first lol. My biggest regret: I didn't get the colorful soft serve 😢.

😄Yayy you posted a Volcano Bay video! I went for the 1st time last week, and I think it's the best water park in Orlando! Theming is amazing, the rides are awesome and the food is actually really good! Only complaint is I went to get that special ice cream, the machine was broken 😭

Volcano Bay is what makes USO my new favorite place to go. Yes, US is great. Yes, IoA is awesome. But when we walked from Cabana Bay into Volcano Bay and did a whole day there, USO resort stepped above Disney. It was like going to Hawaii while at a ride resort. Honestly, I think about that place multiple times a day. It's a problem.

I love Volcano Bay. We have been there twice. The Fearless River is tops. We actually have not done every water slide ride there yet. I won't do that drop slide that you went on Anna. I have done them at other water parks before and I guess I have had my fill of those type of slides. I wish we were doing Universal/Islands and Volcano Bay again this summer, but we might be doing the Universal parks around Christmas time this year, so no water park. We are doing Disney in September but not able to do Volcano Bay on that trip.

Your bravery on the water plunge was amazing and your words have inspired me! We have been to Universal 5 times now and each time I have chickened out of riding Velocicoaster (it's the lack of shoulder harness that freaks me out) but [I'm paraphrasing cuz I can't find your quote] you said you only get one life so take those moments when they come and that hit me! You're right! So next time we go (hopefully December) I am facing my fear and riding!!! Thanks Anna!!!

I absolutely loved the video. On the last point you guys made, you can have your card stored in your taputapu. You can pay with that and you won't have to carry the card around. Big time saver for the times I've gone.

I didn’t catch a glimpse of you guys but my kids saw you while getting tacos. My youngest son is right behind you guys when you were filming. We were sitting in the premium seating as well. Was a little skeptical if it was worth it but glad we did it at the end of the day. I had the tacos as well. I’m not a wimp when it comes to spice, I thought they were a bit spicy as well. A little salty also but pretty good. Great video! We really enjoy watching your channel. We were down for a week and already can’t wait to come back!

😂😂 the stairs are wild. It’s built into the volcano though so you don’t really see a huge drop off as you’re walking up if that makes sense!

Thank you!! And yes, but you can ride “ride now” stuff without losing your return time or enjoy either of the rivers. Your return doesn’t expire until the park closes either!

Depending on the time of the year, the price of Premium Seating varies. My son and I went during HHN, mid October and I paid $75.00 for Premium Seating.
