5 birds is far too many for 3 people let alone 1, don’t know how people do it. All in all, it was an amazing day having farmer Yasmin stay for the weekend, in this video you will see Mikey and Mia the blue and gold macaws, Wayne the greenwing macaw, and Joker and Quinn the alexandrine parakeets all having a lovely day hanging out with us humans and free flying in the park. Mia loved farmer Yasmin way too much which made her very strange...

Mickey can I ask you a question ,it's about my Amazon parrot I've had him given me of my mum and dad ,they had him from birth and he's about 15years I've had him for about 1years now and he makes like a noise that sounds like a balloon been let down sometimes and puts his wings up and down, like he's excited about something, I don't know, I have look up on it but nothing, he only dose it when I talk to him, his he just excited 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Tehehehe I feel your stress, I have 27 recuse birds all together. Plus 4 dogs, 5 fish, qnd 2 children. It gets hectic pretty much every day. Isnt a day I don't scrub cages lol. But I love them all so much. Im a veterinarian technician and couldn't imagine life without recusing birds from owners who didnt understand what they got into getting birds bigger then budgies

@@midgepug7897 yeah 27, i have 21 budgies, 1 cockatiel, 1 conure, 3 canaries, and 1 blue quaker. Everyone has flight cgaes, except the budgies have a tripple flight cage, and eveyone during the day is out of the cage playing and flying around. Except for when I have to go to the store or drs with my daughter because she is special needs, and was born with mosaic turners syndrome. But thats why everyones cages are big and spacious and then when I get home everyone comes out.

I have a alexandrine parakeet and once I told him that my mom is not your mom and he isn’t a human , he didn’t eat food until I said sorry and my mom said that I was wrong 😂

You're so lucky to be able to spend so much time and even have macaws and parrots, my baby blue and gold is picky on who he likes, but he pretty much likes everyone in my family, Have a wonderful day!

@@tzxazrael With the ability to fly. That's why owning a parrot is such a big deal. It's a lot of responsibility, comparable to taking care of a child even.

I have only a small lovebird but even she is overwhelming but to take care of these you have to treat them like lil todlers and ❤️them with all ur heart and they WILL show affection and love 💗 and larger birbs are harder to take care of but they are gonna give you twice as much love and cuddles so...live with it

Do not get a bird on a whim, they require the same time and attention a child would. Make sure you research as much as you can! Check out Birdtricks on yt

I own an amazon parrot, a blue and gold macaw, 2 sun conures and 1 cockatoo! Trust me, you have to daily check their food, give them some time (alot of time), you have to give them TIME and some toys so they can play...remember, having a parrot is like having a child

A parrot is a baby, a lifelong commitment, they will probably outlive you, be prepared to put them in your will, and you can’t just give up on them if they turn out to be bratty and moody.

Ask your self if you are ready to have a child, emotionally & financially, do you have time, space, endless patience? Birds are rehomed every day because people don’t understand the commitment.

I have owned 6 parrots in total, the most I've has at a time is 4. I have had 4 budgies, a rainbow lorikeet and a conure. I currently have 2 budgies and a conure (the conure is a cinnamon green cheek)

I'm watching this and it looks awesome to free flight train your birds. I'm going to have to do this with my macaw if and when I get it. My dad wants a scarlet macaw so I'll let him get his first then, after he has his and it's settled for a few months, I'll be getting mine, a lovely harlequin macaw. The closest experience I have with bigger birds is I had an amazon which passed a few years ago, though I have loads of experience with smaller, super active parrots (Indian ringneck, GC conures, budgies, cockatiels, canaries, finches, etc)

Hi guys, I would LOVE to hear your thoughts on harnesses... I have one for my macaw for when we are out and about, obviously not for our free fly, but I did notice you don't have one on when your getting around town, so have I wasted money lol?

No no. Harness’s are an amazing way to take your bird outside safely. Since our guys are free flight trained and know how to be held we no longer use them
