Anne of Green Gables and LOTR - I lived in those books and cried my eyes out every time I finished either series. And I re-read them a lot. Also as an adult I’ve become obsessed with adopting senior rescue cats from the local shelter. Perhaps because they’ve often had such rough lives surviving outside for sometimes years or losing their mom or dad to old age or such, they give so much love and affection to us and you really feel like you’re making a difference in their lives givning them a good home for the remainder of their lives. And they go very well with our cautious autistic kids because senior cats are calmer and have outgrown the zoomies mostly 😅 which our human ”scaredy cats” children appreciate. Loved the look and the whole video collab!

I cannot love you more for adopting senior cats and giving them a loving home for the rest of their lives. My dream one day is to have a place big enough to do this as well and rescue all kinds of animals in need xx

I am so, so happy you and Mariam collaborated!! I adore her and her channel! She really helped me learn about combining and layering Pat shadows! This collaboration is my Pat McGrath dream team!! I loved your question for her! As a retired physician, I love hearing women talk about science. It’s also just a treat to listen to an expert talk about something they love so much! Moonlit Seduction plus Statuesque is a winning combo for me, too! (Statuesque should have been in there in place of one of the berry mattes). I pulled out Sublime a few days ago. I don’t think I’ve ever paired these two Motherships! Your look was beautiful!! I have always loved reading, too, from the time I was little! Your babies are beautiful!! Kingston looks like my cat who passed away a few years ago. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Ralphie looks like an angel, too ❤️😇 Both you and Mariam had basically the same cat misconception! I love that! Your dream mothership…YES!! Oh I love the neutral concept and the formulas! I LOVE those baked satins in the Bridgerton palettes. Having that formula in neutrals would be THE BEST! A baked special shade in silver has been my forever dream! Talk about elevated neutrals!!! That is a dream!

I love Mariam and Martina too. Lots of 👍🏻on both channels after I started my PMG collection. What Martina said about the missing products Pat doesn't have is true. Green corrector is missing and an under-eye color corrector. The foundation that doesn't live up to other brands... Martina would like to see a reformulation of the PMG foundation... and the concealer does not meet her standards plus Pat doesn't have cream bronzes yet... so hopefully Pat is changing some products and putting the missing ones on the market... 🙏🏻❤

A horse called wonder! I loved those books as a kid. Ahhh, statuesque. I bought a backup of that shade when I could tell the stock was dwindling. I almost always use it when I pull out a Pat palette and many other palettes too. My perfect crease shade. Edit to add: hello kitties!!! And you look beautiful!

I wish the pat palettes had lighter Mattes in each mothership. I'm quite fair and i do miss a matte from her for blending out.

My favourite Makeup Artist to meet would also be Lisa Eldridge. I actually think Aussie and UK align much more with personalities, style and preferences so Lisa comes across as much more approachable and I absolutely love the products I've tried from her brand.

For your next holiday reading - a court of thorns and roses series. It's a great easy escapism fantasy series that's a bit spicy haha. Yes it's all over book Tok, but I think it more or less lives up to the hype

I love fantasy too!! LOTR, The Wheel of Time, GOT (before they ruined it with the last few seasons) and Star Wars (yes it’s fantasy and not sci fi) are my jam. I have an arm tattoo that features 4 symbols from these different IPs and my love for them! Beautiful makeup as usual!

I love these collab videos! Love you and Mariam, thank you both. Beautiful look ❤. I loved Nancy Drew when I was a kid, would read a book a day, and hands down would meet Lisa. Also, as an American, I got to have Cadbury chocolate when I studied abroad in Australia and you are 100% right, it’s better there ☺️.

As much as I rag on Pat McGrath for doing so much pink, she really does have beautiful pink shades in her collection. Still can’t bring myself to buy the most recent mothership though 😢 Maybe if there’s another glitch sale like a while ago when I could get a mothership and the intensive eyes stick for AUS$80. You bet I made sure I was fully stocked!

I am the same with reading. I have to finish a book immediately. I can't be bothered to do anything else until it's finished. If it's a series i need a lot of time. I get angry if I have to stop reading for any reason. I also get depressed once it's finished. I also have adhd and was diagnosed in my 30's.

I feel like all of pat's mothership palettes have neutral mattes lol. A ton of them lean pink or mauve but the earlier ones have browns up until like number 6 i think.

I love using all those pink Pat McGrath palettes in the spring. I am thinking of combining them with the Rich Romantic and Groundwork I and II. I would love to meet Danessa Myricks. I would be thoroughly tongue tied. I feel like Lisa Eldridge gives a lot of herself and just as much as she wants us to know. I think Pat McGrath would be fascinating to meet. She is an iceberg IMO. Late to the party but commenting for the algorithm. I loved Tamora Pierce’s song of the lioness series as a child (YA books about Alanna the female knight) as well as the sweet valley series. I didn’t get into John Marsden’s tomorrow when the war began series until early high school then somehow read all of them in 3 days 😂 90s child in oz here! This inspired me to pull out my motherships.

I have 2 ragamuffin boys. They have such cool personalities. I'm a cat person for sure. We also have a sphinx Persian mixed female cat. She hates our boys and is the oldest of the 2. She has to be in her own room that they aren't allowed in. It's quite dramatic.

Ooh thank you for reminding me I really need to dig out my motherships again. I had most of them but got moonlit seduction and a couple of others during that glitch sale when I could get a mothership and the intensive eyes or mascara for AUS$80. I mean, for those prices it would have been criminal to NOT buy them😂😍 But, having bought them, I haven’t used them much, which is the truly criminal act here!
