In the Mie tahon täyttä elämä! project (2023), we shared information about the effects of ageing with people who need special support due to a developmental disability or some other reason. The project took place in North Karelia, Finland.
Through this project, we supported older people with intellectual disabilities in their ability to work and function. The activities support the sustainable development goals of communities by promoting social inclusion and well-being in North Karelia. We also shared information about ageing with people with intellectual disabilities with their relatives and employees.
