EcoFlow you need to send this man a extra battery and another solar panel

Not sure if you are aware or not, but you can get a dc to dc charger and charge it off your truck alternator while you are traveling.

hey old electrician here.......just an idea, if you run a charge through a large diode from your altinator it would be another way to top that beast up while driving. thanks for all your time and effort !!!

You could run a heat exchanger off of the coolant system in the truck for free heat and hot water when you're running.

Great video nice the power pack worked well. I remember your pipes froze. I was able to find on Amazon a 12 volt heat tape that you can add to tank heaters if your interested in looking it up. Have a great week🎉

I've hemmed and hawed about getting one of these battery generators. Where I live we get power outages lasting around 8 hrs once every month or so. I did the math and for me to break even from spending on gasoline it would take approximately 100+ power outages to justify the cost. I'd love to be a bit greener but the greenbacks are as important to me as the green energy.

Nice I use my River Pro for weekend trips in NW Washington. Works great for charging drones and tablets. Also run a light strip off of it in the bed of my truck.

I got into boondocking with solar gens a few years before you did and back then, Goal Zero was the premier provider. We still use a GZ Yeti6000 to run our rig, but I think EcoFlow, Bluetti and a few others have surpassed them in battery tech and recharge timeframes. I like the power set up you have currently, but I think you would benefit from some more solar on the roof. Maybe another sticky panel in the front?

I have one of these hook up some solar panels you can use any solar panels go to the maximum wattage it can take it will charge on cloudy days too. When hooking up solar panels dont go over the maximum voltage or wattage that the built in mppt controller can take. Use domestic house solar panels with a fuse as you can get large ones with higher wattage you will need to get the solar panel leed to hook it up. The eco flow has a built in mppt controller witch is a big plus. also make sure the solar panels are the same brand and wattage. Don't mix different wattage solar panels. you will find that if you have good solar setup the unit wont go flat and you wont need a generator. Don't go bellow 30% discharge and charge only to 95% this will extend the battery life. once every 3 months discharge the unit to 0% then charge it to 100% then set it back to 30% discharge and charge only to 95% you will then be able to run everything. you will find once its fully charged on solar you will be able to run things straight of the solar panels when the sun is shining and the ecoflow wont use the battery power.

Hello from Arkansas. What atlas do I need for all roads in bc and yt? I traveled the alaska highway 1978 to 1984. Fell in love with the country....should have moved there. I am disabled now and do good to make it to the coffee pot. Really enjoy your videos, the sites bring back a lot of memories from years long past now. Always dreamed I would make it back there again. If you maximized that units solar charging you would never have a power or charge issue. Given your described power usage.
