Small twists bobbipined and into messy top bun is my go to. Great request.

Some other ideas: - big messy top knot bun - half pony tail The following using a half ponytail base: - mini bun on top with a scrunchie - braid of choice with the ends - braided mini bun - rose bun (pancake braid bun) - rest of the hair into a big braid Notes/pinch of salt: - I have a LOT of dark hair - i tend to be really scalp heavy with the grease and my ends are usually okay if a bit frizzy - i go for slicked back as that's what my hair leans towards - I'll dry shampoo, rub it in and get ready THEN do my hair so it's not AS icky but if im in a rush I deal with it as is

Really loving having Anna Laura in these videos! I feel like she represents all of us who aren't hairstylists. When she runs into trouble with a style, it helps to bring out some of those "Kayley-nuggets" (of wisdom and experience 🙌) that we've come to know and love from this channel 😊

Would be interested in this too. I've been using a satin scrunchie if I'm just at home and I want my hair up (in the hopes that there is less friction??) but I don't know if it actually helps...
@tamsind50394 жыл бұрын
@@silentlinguist2872 You can also try using the invisi bobbles, not sure what they are called in the US but they look like this www.boots.com/beauty/hair/hair-accessories/invisibobble-hair-band-in-crystal-clear-10175803, I find them way more gentle on the hair (and actually they stop pulling and headaches for me too!). Also move the position of your ponytail and make sure you're not wearing your hair in the same place all day every day as that is what causes some of the damage.

Love you Kayley! May I request a video of braid hairstyles, that look nice and elaborate at the front? I love braids, but I hate the fact that usually an elaborate braid upo just looks like a ponytail from the front. Your hairstyle at 22:54 is a great example of what I mean, but it would be cool to have a video dedicated to more hairstyles like this! (Crown and hairband braids maybe?) I would especially love something like this with a fishtail braid. This would also be extra useful in times of video calls! :D

Hi Kayley and AnnaLaura, I really love your tutorials and the fun little chats in between. Thank you for always making my day!😊 I have a rather specific request, however, maybe my specific problem results in hairstyles which are also useful for other circumstances. I am a paramedic and I work nightshifts only as in Austria (where I live) paramedics who work voluntairily take over the nightshifts (like me). This means that I am constantly on call and jump in and out of bed about 5-10 times during sleep. I obviously have to be rather fast most of the time which means no time to fix your hair. I would love to see hairstyle ideas that you can wear to sleep and stand up looking presentable still. ( to avoid scaring my patients 😅). Lots of love to the two of you! Stay safe! Greetings from Austria!💕💕💕

Can you *please* do a video of hairstyle like the Saturday one that are good for people with mobility issues? I have arthritis and 99% of what you do is inaccessible to me but when I saw the Saturday braid--beard-flip I practically jumped out of my chair with excitement! My limitations are: nothing requiring dexterous fingers (pretend you have claws for hands) and nothing where I have to hold my arms up for more than like a minute. My mother-in-law graciously made us some masks but with elastic being in low supply, she harvested some off of safety glasses. They work very well, but the elastic became a but looser after the first wear. So I started putting a bun smack dab in the middle of my head with a scrunchie and put the mask over the bun. It works very well and even works with a ponytail. But I am definitely going to try the funbun nubbin one. So cute!
