Zola was/is my mom basically. She left me and my brother in Jamaica while she was here working for a wealthy family in New Jersey. Needless to say after about 10 yrs working faithfully for the family. They helped her get us visas so we can come to their beautiful country when I was 11 yrs old. Needless to say the rest is history as I ended up joining the Marines, defending her in Fallujah back in 04!!

I am wondering bc I never knew who that person helping him with Professor X is, bc I never saw the first part of the movie up until he buys meds illegally from some nurse dude... swigs some liquor, then crosses over the border with the meds for Charles and the guy says it's not enough medication, blah blah blah. And in the beginning I couldn't hear Wolverine & that other guy so I never found out who he was.

2:38 I got to this point and thought "wait a minute- this sounds familiar" I looked it up, and sure enough, I've read the book this was based on. The book is actually surprisingly good and I remember that the relationship between Kyle and Will was a strong point in the story, and I'm surprised the movie doesn't seem to touch on it as much, but maybe that's just not shown in the recap. It definitely had a big impact on Kyle's character development.

For some reason, these recap channels show a lot of flipped frames. You'll notice driving on both sides of the car or the same character writing with either hand. The frames are just flipped.

I just want to say that love can be more than merely skin deep. Have you heard the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder? " Someone could be a ravishing beauty with a movie star look but an ugly personality. Honestly eventually looks fade, yet a beautiful heart doesn't. Stay true to yourself and who you are, eventually one will see you and love you for who you are not merely as you look. Stay humble and kind.

I've noticed that a lot of women don't really mind what a guy looks like. If he's kind, caring, driven to achieve something in life and confident in his masculinity, that can be very attractive. Even more points if the guy is funny. A great personality goes a long way with women. And if you don't mind, working out and getting a bit more muscular can also make a guy more appealing, even if they don't have the most attractive face. Even though these are things I've observed, I don't necessarily feel the same way

I liked seeing this movie, but they really changed the ending from the one in the book. In the book ending it turns out that the house maid is the witch, and had been separated from her witch family for some time. So in granting the wish for the housemaid to see her family again it actually reunited the witch with her family.

Has anyone ever wondered what it would be like if the roles in "Beastly", were reversed or thinking about a movie with the reversed roles cause I think those kind of movies can really be marketable and I believe it can we could get more movies unlike other in the past. ('i.e. "Divergent" series, "Hellboy", "Percy Jackson" etc.,'}

George RR Martin is doing a sort of deconstructive reversal version of that in his series A Song of Ice and Fire. It's with Brienne and Jaime (though idk if they'll live happily ever after). Basically Brienne is physically the beast, but inside she's the beauty. Jaime is physically the beauty, but inside he's the beast (i mean the man pushed a 9 year old boy out the window of a tower and he screwed his twin sister regularly in the show and regularly in the books up until recently).
