Autumn is approaching, but the summer lingers just a little longer to fill us with summery memories for the upcoming winter. From harvesting our cherries, apricots, loquats and figs to cristal blue seasides and far away lakes, this summer has been one for the books. We cooked a few traditional foods ("gemista") with our wood oven and enjoyed the relaxation that this season offers.
There are a few updates concerning the upcoming videos.

They make their own oil, wine, they stay close to the parents.. They eat healthy fresh fruits n veg from their own garden. They go the beach mostly..life is calm n slow..What are we doing..hustling for what..village life is good.

There is no summer in Greece without cicadas. As a matter of fact, I think cicadas bring summer and when they're gone, summer withers.

That is absolutely true! And interestingly they don't sing the same throughout the summer, there's a significant difference between the sound of the cicadas in June and August 😊

Ariadne dear I truly appreciate the Great work you are doing love! My warmest congratulations my mother home Island is Imroz(Imvros) Island. Like I said previously I have lived in mainland Greece outside Thiva on a farm. I've never been to the Peloponnese but I always wanted to go there Ariadne, perhaps if you can be my guide love as I wouldn't know my way around, would be great. Wow one of my favourite Greek foods which my blueyed mum use to cook for me was the gemista with peppers. I lost her this year she passed away on the 22/04/2022. And now I live on my own and it gets kind of lonely dear.
