Path of Matth is doing a bossing series and has a decent number of the bosses covered already (and more to come), if you want a guide of their mechanics.

For anyone coming across this guide in 2023, some things have changed: -divine orbs and exalted orbs have switched, divine orbs are now the high tier "standard currency" used for trading and meta crafts -the entire prophecy system has been deleted, which includes the pale court. The meta craft recipes are now found in unique maps like normal recipes in normal maps -as of time of writing in 3.21 crucible league, atziri's disfavour is now worth about 2div minimum, rising to 3+ if 6link. Uber atziri can also drop the atziri's reflection shield which sells for 1div at time of writing, and the price of devotion div card which currently sells for 24div. Taken together with the (small) chance to drop house of mirrors, it might actually be worth farming Uber atziri now. Might.

Hey ziz, loved the vid. I'd like to see a detailed guide on the fights themselves, I'm thousands of hours in and I still just face tank the bosses and hope not to die.

Ngl, I went into this with too high of expectations. Thought it'd be like Huizui's "mechanics explained" type videos, but for all bosses. Still a solid hour time killer tho. only 4 more days to kill. pog

47:28 for anyone wanting some more explanation on resistances i dug this up from the forums (credit to Zakaluka) A monster has 90% fire resist, capped to 75%. A 40% flammability curse would lower the target's resist to 90% - 40% = 50%. A 40% penetration gem would lower the target's resist to 75% - 40% (since penetration applies last in the calculation, even after the cap is implemented) With both the curse and the gem you'd be at 50% - 40% = 10%. Both the curse and the gem can push resists below zero. Neither is limited in any way by zero resist. Except that, the lower a target's resist is, the less significant a (relative) benefit it becomes to lower the resist farther.

Been playing this game for years. Only fought regular Atziri a couple of times for flask. Cant be bothered grinding for the other bosses :D

When you've been playing for years and know most of the stuff but watch all sorts of videos for refreshers and possible ideas for future leagues. Good video my guy.

I've watched Zizaran complaining about the disappointing boss loot tables countless times and every single time I couldn't agree more. The unique item designer of POE has an absolute kink to put a downside on unique items (or keystone passives for that matter) so much that a large proportion of them are unusable.

While I very much enjoy hearing ideas/complaints for ways to improve the game (Maven's loot tables), they detract from the instructional purpose of these guides. Especially if longer than a sentence. A comprehensive video on only ideas for balancing the game would be great (and has been), and hopefully be seen by (submitted to?) the dev. team.

Is there any profit letting the Maven witness your bosses other then unlocking them for the invitations? Or do bosses drop better loot if beeing witnessed?

Ooofff You reminded me that I sold an Aul's Uprising for less than 100C in 3.14 because I didn't pay attention that it had pride. Worst trade fail I've ever made by far. It still haunts me.

Sirus Buggy trashcan of the world.....always teleports offscreen and beam me on phase 4 (and stays in his storm and never comes out again for the fight hate it so bad designed).....I can do Uber Atzíri easily deathless but he is just too much for my eyes and patience.
