Don’t worry, I cried with you! I’m a 74 year old American woman who has been living in Europe for the last 35 years, the first nine in Northern Germany and the last 26 in Sweden with my Swedish husband. BTS “found” me in 2017. (It is said that BTS “finds” you when you need them the most.) I can’t remember how many times I have watched this video with different reactors - it’s always wonderful experiencing others being drawn into the vast BTS rabbit hole! Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most older videos, including this guide, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. The members were only 13-18 years old when they joined BTS and 15-20 yo when they debuted. In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on lunar newyear every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... Year of birth - International age at Debut on 13June13 Jin 1992 - 20 yo Suga 1993- 20 yo Suga started with MIDI at 11 JHope 1994 - 19 yo JHope started dancing at 8 RM 1994 - 18 yo RM started rapping at 11 and was well known in the underground scene at 13 Jimin 1995 - 17 yo V 1995 - 17 yo JK 1997 - 15 yo he signed with big hit at 13 Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. The Korean Government has recently (June28 last year) brought in international age as the standard in Korea, but all older videos/ interviews/ shows, will be referencing Korean age. 💜Have a great day

The only thing I would like to add is. Jimin was chosen last and made his debut 1 month after being chosen for BTS. He was given no singing lessons and used to go back to his room and practise for hours because he asked if he could watch the 3 other vocal line having their lessons . He also had to undo his modern dance and ballet and so he could do the BTS choreography 😢 BRAVO Jimin 👏

These men came into my life when i needed them. If you hear the saying "you don't find bts, bts find you when you need them the most" is not a joke but the truth, I've never heard of BTS till that day in 2020..my darkest period in life..if they wouldn't find me back then i won't be here writing this down at this moment. My love, respect and appreciation torwards them keeps growing! Thank you for giving ou'r boys and their music a chance and that you stood open for listening. Thank you for your reaction. Vids about there past experiences can be quite emotional. They received so much hate, prejudice and criticism from the start and they were so young. Until a few years ago South Korea had a rather funny system for ageing. When born the baby is 1 year old. Every New Year all people would add a year. to there age. no matter when born. JK was actually only 13 years old when he joined BTS. They were all teens getting so much hate , and scorn and threats to their lives even in their own country. Many men who have achieved much less than BTS have been exempted from military enlistment as a reward for the prestige they have brought SK. The Govt didn't offer that to BTS. Catch you next time.

It's so funny because this was posted 7 hrs ago (when I'm watching) and while you're celebrating 2K subscribers, you're already at 2.99K subscribers now. Almost at 3K. Congratulations! I hope more people find your channel. You three seem so lovely and I really enjoy your reactions and personalities. It's the first time I've had to read two different languages for subtitles in a reaction video but it's surprisingly easy to do. I would think it would be confusing to tiring but you guys are awesome and your language is so beautiful to listen to. If you want to dive in a little deeper, you can watch "American Hustle Life" (2014) Just after BTS debuted they were sent to LA in America to learn more about HipHop and R&B. Although it can be a bit cringy and some moments unpleasant, they learned a lot and have even as of today have kept some of the things they learned while there. BTS is 7 and even with one missing, it’s not BTS as the members always say. Jin is also very athletic and has a black belt in taekwondo but he never brags about his achievements. These guys are deeper than you see❤😂The members contribute to other charities personally too but they also don’t brag about it. They are talented, humble and a group of loving brothers and Army is the best❤

BTS and the Bangtan 7 are very special. You can create this. It had to happy organically or magically as you said in the video. We Army are blessed to find them and know them. I am 58 years old and have been following them since 2018. Can’t wait for their return and in the meantime I am revisiting much love content and all the special content they prepared while they are away.
