A simple yet effective way to paint old crumbling brickwork in watercolour. Also, the same techniques can be applied to painting windows.

Thanks, glad you liked it. I have just this minute finished the recording for next week's video and it is another great way to paint very realistic close up brickwork with minimum effort, the finished picture looks really nice so tune in next Saturday as I think you will like it. 👍🏻🙏🏻

Nice video! Love painting architecture! Make sure you change your smoke alarm battery 😂 It is never good to be without your smoke detector!

This is a wonderful video. You are simply terrific in explaining every part of your creation in details, which truly helps us. The techniques, colours, and shadows. Just lovely! The beauty of watercolors are imperfections. This is what I adore about this medium. Thank you so very much. I have subscribed. 😘💖 🎨

@@Bushy-73 Thank you, but what kind of paint is that? Google couldn't find anything. The pans look like some Russian paint.

@@Bushy-73 Haha, thanks, this was very cool to watch but he didn't say anything else about the paints except that they are from his "outdoor kit" whatever that means. I would really love to know the brand of the watercolor. 😂

Hi I have old student quality Windsor and Newton Cotman in the palette. As the outdoor kit is just for reference work, just messing around I don't need to use artists quality. Cotman colours are surprisingly good quality for the price.

@@WatercolourPassion Oh, okay, so you have just poured W&N Cotman to some empty full pans, right? I was curious because I couldn't identify those pans and I'm always eager to learn about brands I don't know yet. 🙂 Those pans looks like the old St. Petersburg paints or some Polish watercolor brand I cannot recall atm.

@@Bushy-73 Thank you. If my memory is correct, St. Petersburg had those semi-transparent pans in the past and also I have seen other Eastern European paints in such pans. I'm always curious to learn about brands I don't know yet. 🙂
